This site is awesome!! I am smoke free since Feb 14th, 2011I spent two days reading threads before making my plunge into the vaping world....alittle overwhelming at first. This forum is loaded with great info....I am a Happy Vapor!!!
So tell us about your set-up....i.e. pv and juice and where you purchased it....inquiring minds want to know...lol

Congrats! I also somehow got directed to this site a few weeks ago after deciding that I just don't want to smoke "analogs" anymore. (ha it's weird using all these new terms..) Anyways after several hours of trying to decipher what I was reading and learning about the different options out there I ordered from Vapor4Life and got:
-VAPOR KING-ULTIMATE MANUAL Starter KIT (I went with the manual battery because i read that they tend to warm up the cartomizer quicker, and provide vapor right away. and a sample pack of "smoke shop" flavors?)
-WOW Vapor King Blank Cartomizers (Pack of 5) I figured if i'm dropping cash and am serious, I might as well try out the blank cartomizers with juice as well as the pre-filled cartomizers.. not sure really what i'm doing though
Kamel Wow Vapor Juice (30ml) - 18mg (and i'm a camel smoker - not sure of the nicotine levels i should start with)
So basically I've been smoking for five years. continuously and a pack a day, but for the past several months I've noticed my habits and think that this is mainly an "oral fixation" - I get in my car, want to smoke. Smoke breaks during work at my office to get outside.. But I also work at a bar which is the worst. I couldn't imagine simply quitting altogether but I'm 22 and know that I want to do this.
Anyways.. I ordered my package on Monday and am hoping to see it before the weekend..

Welcome. Have you checked out our "local" suppliers? I bought my eGo 1100 mAh from hoosierecigsupply down in Greensburg. That is a great battery. It lasts me all day (moderate user). cost $44.00-15%, so about $37.50 for the kit.
I am waiting on my first orders of ejuice from Goodejuice (Illinois) and Kickbassvapors (near St Louis). Both were very highly recommended here.
It would be nice if I could just walk into a store and buy what I want. I hear Indy has a good shop around Avon (west 34th). I will have to pay them a visit some day.
Anyway, wecome to the forum from another Hoosier.
Try juice from a different vendor maybe. If you like tobacco flavors, I like Backwoods brew (Virginia and casablanca), drewbacco1 from nhaler. Also heard great things about the tobacco juices at Vapor Station.

I just read again and found you are on 18mg. So don't worry about answering that one.
Wow, I started on 18 and went to 24 then to 36 which did it for me then back to 24mg where I still am after a year. I like where I am, so just play a bit until you are comfortable.

Try some of the wow vg cartos...I'm assuming you had pg. The vg will give you less th. same thing on the liquids....maybe try a 70/30, or 50/50 mix of pg to vg....
