Wanted to upgrade to a mech mod and RBA from my MVP and aerotank/nautilus this afternoon. I went to my local B&M (I know, I know) -- and the guy was oddly enough hesitant to set my up with one of their slightly overpriced Nemesis clones. After chatting I agreed to start with an RBA - I picked out a black kayfun (obviously a clone) and he couldn't actually tell me the model - but whatever it's a start. So He builds me a coil at about 1.5 ohms - to stay good with my MVP. I had a juice I wanted in it in my car so I thanked him, payed and left. (Great experience btw)

So I fill the kayfun through the tiny screw and make a bit of a mess and then the MVP reads "non" - when I got to work I had time to tinker so I pulled the atty apart (DON"T DO THIS lol) I spilled the tank all over. I found that he must have missed with the wire under one of the screws and after a minute I get it on and the MVP reads it @ 1.6ohms.

Now the hit --- WOW - this is awful. I am used to running my adjustable air tanks almost wide open and this was like sucking a watermelon through a straw! seriously, my evod tank on my spinner hits like a champ next to this thing. I got decent (not great) flavor up and down the range of wattages with average vapor production. So now I'm just thinking - what's with all the hype? -I'm sure if I go get something "better" it'll all make sense because I feel like I'm moving in the right direction, but this would be a fail on my first time RBA.

PS - how the heck do you know when you're out of juice if you can't open the tank without losing it all?
