You need to know that the MVP2 has a hard current output limit of 3 amps. If you use Ohm's law to calculate your minimum resistance, using 11 watts and 3 amps as your known values, you'll discover that 1.2Ω is your lower resistance limit.
Going lower than 1.2Ω is a wasted effort, as you don't have adequate current to support a lower value.
The optimal wire gauge size for a single coil in the 1.2Ω to 1.5Ω range is 28 gauge Kanthal wire. With a 1.6mm (1/16") mandrel, you will produce a single coil with 10 to 12 wraps... about the longest surface area coil you can produce that will fit in most RTA or RDA atomizers.
If you buy a RDA, make sure that it has the AFC (air flow control) option for a single coil. An example in an RDA would be the Origen V2. RTAs typically have only a single air inlet and sometimes multiple (at the coil) outlets. A good single coil RTA, and perhaps the most popular of all time, are the
svoemesto kayfun Lite and Kebo R91%.
