Congrats on both the mile mark and upgrade! My first reo purchase was just like yours, minus the RM5... Definitely clear coat that door. I used some Rustoleum Clear satin 2x cover... works pretty good. I recommend two coats. I only did one coat when I first got it, but recently I applied two more coats to make sure...

Congrats on the order. BW with Copper Vein door is going to look great. You don't have to, but as Cliven mentioned -- you should get some Rustoleoum Clear Enamel to clear coat the door with before it turns black. I strongly suggest doing the whole thing as well to help protect the paint from anything that gets on your hands (sweat, salt, oils, and even food products).
