Thought I would try and post a review of this product as I see they have not been out too long. Figured it would be good to give the board some feedback since I have learned so much from here. Remember this is my first review, so I apologize in advance if I leave anything out.

Little backround about me. Been vaping for about a month and a half. Have had several kits including ones from Smoke 55?, Greenworld and Volcano. Spent the last few weeks trying different hardware and setups to see what suits me best. So far the Volcano Inferno has worked out best for me. Its got excellent battery life and seems to work well with the Mega Clear-o-mizers. This is what I have been using thus far with the inferno.

In my latest trip to the Volcano website I find that they are flat out of ALL cartos. Clear, ceramic, Everything. Before leaving the site to search for other cartos from other vendors I noticed the Tank-o-mizer kit and tanks on the site. Ill be honest guys, I had NO idea what I was getting into, had heard about “Tank” systems on the forum but still didnt know what they were all about. I just ordered an atomizer and a couple packs of Tanks like the sight recommended and hoped for the best. After some trial and error, im glad I did.

Hardware::: For testing I used only the Inferno Super Battery. But it works as well with the USB. Battery levels varied but I have gone through several charges with them. Ive also used several different juices and percentages with them. Ranging from 30% VG to 80% VG. Vapor Bomb, Tasty Vapor and Gourmet Vapor were some of the vendors I used.

Price: The tanks are 3.99 for 5. The tanks come in 4 colors and are reusable, but black tanks dont have see through tips, The other colors do! So if you want to keep an eye on the fluid level without removing the tank DONT ORDER BLACK. The attys come in every inferno color and are 11.99. It screws on the battery, its not press fit.

First thing when I opened the box I immediately looked for instructions, All of Volcanos products have come with good enough instructions to figure things out. These came with none. Even my carto 5 pack came with a card on how to fill them. These did not. Now I know this will sound funny to the professionals that have used a tank system and granted I did figure it out after a few minutes, but some kind of directions for ...... like myself would have been helpful.

After I got the tanks punctured, filled, and inserted heres where the problems began. I was constantly getting a burnt taste in my mouth. Spicy Hits on sweet flavors. Little vapor. Figuring I didnt have it primed enough I started sucking on this thing like a thick milkshake straw. Nothing happened! Nothing changed. After 15 minutes of this I had a headache from drawing on this thing. I put it aside and walked away for a few. Came back after about an hour and started pullling on it again. All of a sudden vapor CLOUDS! I couldnt stop this thing! It was a vapor machine. Clouded out my whole basement in 5 minutes. I went through 3 tanks in no time because it was working SO well. Figuring I was doing something wrong I went to the web and found on the forums that you evidently need to BLOW into, not pull on the tips in some cases to prime the atty. Again INSTRUCTIONS would have helped here.
After all this, I went in with the knowledge and tried again from the start. New cart, New fill. Bingo! Blowing into the tip when I tasted the flavor going off fixed the problem immediately.

Pros:

I have gone through plenty of tank fills now with no major issues. The vapor with almost every juice I tried with it was twice that of a mega carto with the same juice. Hits were smooth, slightly airy, but pretty consistent. I have gotten NO juice in my mouth yet from these tanks. Its either air or vapor, no juice. A nice change from the cartos as I used to get a backfire from those often. Filling is also improved from Volcanos cartos setup. Takes me about 15 minutes to fill all my Tanks (10). Ive spent 15 minutes on one carto in the past when it gives me trouble, so this time saving is great. All the tanks come with caps so they dont leak. After several leak “tests” I have not had one capped tank soak me or my case, I would consider them as portable as cartos for the most part. Changing tanks is painless, and the flavor switches within 5-6 pulls. Really nice if you like to switch flavors alot.

Cons:

These things EAT juice. I know im clouding more now then ever, but these things empty quick. At a 1ml fill they are not as big as the cartos I used to use (Megas are 2ml), but they also dont last me anywhere near as long. I used to get by with 3 ml a day, Tops!. Im in the 6+ range with these. I personally dont mind the increase, but a heavy user might need to take alot of tanks with them if going out for awhile as well as keep alot of juice on hand. Another issue that sometimes arrises is the attty over heating. It takes alot to do it but 10-15 min of constant vaping with no real break will heat these up fast. Nothing a couple min break no and then won’t fix, but chain vapers will be upset at the decline in performance.

Overall:

All things considered, after 5 days, I really like this setup. It works well almost all the time now. Vapor is unreal! The cost does not seem bad but im also not sure how long these tanks last or how long the attys last, Im still working on that and will update if anything changes. Anyone have an idea how long they should last? If the atty lasts and Volcano does not run out of these for weeks at a time this will be my full time hardware. I strongly recommend it to anyone currently using an inferno setup.

Sorry for being so long winded, Any questions or comments, please feel free. Thanks for reading...:)

The only difference I noticed with the InfernoT atty's are the tight draw.

If you put the tank atty on another eGo battery, there is no tight draw.

Remove the o-ring on the Inferno battery and the draw improves.

I have not had these problems with any of the inferno batts myself when it comes to tight draw. Just at first when i didnt know what i was doing. But i have seen a lot of posts on volcanos site regarding this problem. Removing the o ring seems to help most people.

Thanks for taking the time to break it down. I'm looking for the easiest, most stress, fuss and muss-free vaping equipment for my husband and keep going back to the Volcano site. They have great options and what looks like an ever expanding range of flavors.

Awesome, thorough review!

Thanks, Volcano seems to be a good one stop shop for quality everything. Fair prices. Excellent service. I have not had a hardware product from them that i would consider Bad. I have not tried the e-liquids from them but hardware wise they are always spot on. They always get my order out in 24 hours, once i ordered at 4:30 ET and got a shipment notice with tracking at 5:30 ET. WOW! Gotta love timezones. NY shipments with free priority have been 3 days with saturday delivery because its usps. Quick for free from Hawaii. I would recommend ordering at least 2 packs of blanks tanks. You really can't have to many and at 4.00 its not too expensive to stock up. Remember also to NOT order black if you want the luxury of checking your juice level without removing the tank.

Okay, I'll keep that in mind. You've been so helpful! Thanks again.
