Tank-o-mizer questions (since there isn't a specific forum for it here.)

Hi,

I received my Volcano tank accessories yesterday for my Volcano Magma kit (I was using it as a drip kit while waiting to add the tank accessories.) I was curious about a few things...

A.) How long does it take to break in the atomizer in these tank-o-mizers? I started using the new tank-o-mizer last night and even this morning I'm still getting somewhat of a burnt taste when I inhale.

B.) Is it normal for the tank-o-mizer itself (the outside shell that screws onto the battery) to get SERIOUSLY hot when inhaling? When I say SERIOUSLY hot I mean you can't touch it or you'll get burnt hot! The atomizer I was using with the Magma to drip did not get this hot...just asking!

And finally, I'm not getting much vape so far using the tank system...I got much more using the drip method and I got much more using my Blu cartomizers. What gives? Has the tank-o-mizer just not been broken in enough yet?

P.S. I kinda had been thinking about buying a larger E-Cig kit to get better battery life between charges and to hold more amounts of juice at one time such as a Inferno or a Joye kit (tank kits only) but don't want to buy something else if the vape is going to be like what I'm getting out of my Magma tank system...it would simply not be worth it.

Juice that you use in a tank system should be a little bit thinner than what you would use dripping or it will not wick well. I used 70pg/30vg and had wick problems. 80/20 seems to work better if it is too thin it leaks though. I quit using my tanks because I didn't like the dry taste I got from it.

Yea I'm using 80/20 right now from Volcano. I still can't believe I'm saying I'm getting better vape/flavor from Blu than the other kits I've tried...this is kinda embarrassing to the E-Cig community lol.

Yea I'm going to say it's the atomizer in the tank-o-mizer that hasn't broken in yet. I just put back on my drip kit/atty and I'm not having the same lack of vapor or nasty taste like I am with the new one. I guess I need to give it some more time to break in before I judge it.

Damn this atty in my tank-o-mizer is burning the hell out of the back of my throat...when is this gonna stop?

It sounds like it is too dry. Suck on the mouthpeice without pushing the button a few times it makes bubbles int he cart qnd brings the juice down to the atty. Don't fill your carts all the way up they need some air in them to properly wick.

Battery is automatic, not manual. Tanks are filled about 90% of the way, air bubble is always present before re-capping.

Should I maybe drip a few drops of juice directly on the spike, put the tank back on and leave it alone for a while?

When I use my tanks I usually pull the tank up to get air bubbles every little bit. I soulds like a pain but it's just habit for me. It seems to make the tank vacuum better and you get mor fluid to the atty.
