With both parents who were smokers, and my grandmother and grandfather as well, there were not alot of people to really set the example for me as a kid. I got my first job at age 12 (for a relatives car shop) and all of the guys there smoked as well....
Of all the stupid decisions I have made, starting to smoke at 12 years old is certainly among the worst..
So here we are 21 years and about 7500 packs later...and my best friend for the last 20 years, mr. Joe Camel, hates me. RJR tobacco is no longer taking my money, and the state is now 2$ day poorer!
My SmokTech 510 loves me like Joe never could. I quit about 4 weeks ago, on a Sunday, because I wanted one day smoke free before I went back to work (I had one final smoke the day before, and put it out half way). That was on March 13th, 2011.
By a strange twist of luck, And unrealized at the time, today is my one month marker of being smoke free!
It also happens to be my birthday! If anyone wants to pick me up an eGo for my b-day just let me know XD
All I see in my future is some battery upgrades and new juices to vape! A longer life, a few more years with my beloved, and a nice house that wont turn brownish yellow in a year. There are 5 packs of Camel Wides in my freezer still, and they may remain there forever...because I made the choice to move on to something better, and I have no fear of going back. Just knowing that I made the choice helps me make the same choice everyday.
I used to say "I Love To Smoke!", but now I know that I was only holding on until I could vape.
I Love to Vape and thanks to everyone here who made my experience better and easier. A special thanks to all who were at the Philly vapefest. I have never met/seen so many people who offered themselves up as proof that it could be done, and was simply the best reassurance I could ever get.
