Heya there guys! I've been lurking in this forum for quite some time now, and I finally pulled the trigger on a Black Wrinkle LP Reo Grand last Friday. It shipped Monday, but unfortunately it was stuck in Scarborough for 3 days, so it got here today (Saturday) instead of the estimated delivery which was supposed to be Thursday. Needless to say, I'm just glad I finally have it in hand :D.

I sent my top-fed Odin to Chowderhead a few weeks ago for surgery, and It's nice to be vaping it again, it's a solid atty for sure, especially on a Reo. I got it built with some dual tensioned micro coils (Super X style at that) coming in at .6 ohms with an AW 18650 2200, loaded it up with my adv, and it's been chucking right along. I'm waiting on my Deoxit Gold pen to come in, so the included vial of Noalox was nice to have, I put a little dab on the firing pin and spring, and so far I see no arcing, so it should get me by for a few days. I also cut an inverted V in the feed tube (albeit a bit butchered), but it didn't seem to be squonking well, so I took it back off and just cut it at a slant, so the bottom of the feed tube looks like a needle tip syringe. It seems to be filling up and draining pretty well now, at least to my untrained eyes.

Lastly, just a little bit about me, I've been vaping exclusively for about a year and a half now. I've went through the standard progression of gear, from pre-filled cartos/901's, egos, cheap China mods, a provari, mechs, and recently a regulated box mod. After trying tanks and gennies, I realized that they were not for me, so dripping has been my go-to for about half of the time I've been vaping. I've always loved the simplicity of a good mech and rda, so I figured a Reo would be the only logical "next step" for me.

Anyway, enough of my rambling, I've been lurking here long enough to know what you guys really want to see...PICTURES :2cool:

Thanks for the heads up! I've been keeping track of the woodvils and resins, and they look fantastic, but I might end up passing on those for now to get another metal Grand (or two, who knows LOL). Thanks again for the warm welcome! And I'll have to stop by the lounge :)

Welcome to Reoville :) Better get comfortable, I don't think you'll be leaving soon haha. I agree Odin is nice. I sold my standard Odin, but I Have 2 bottomfed Odin's.

The Odin is great indeed, I've been using it for a few months but this is the first time I've used it on a Reo, and it's great so far. By the way, you make some fantastic videos, man :) I've been finding myself watching yours, fairtadesloth's, and super X's videos quite a lot recently.

Didn't realize you watch them. Do you have an account on there and do videos? I'll subscribe to you. Thank you so much though, when someone says that it can always make me smile.

I have an account on Youtube, I just don't make videos, mainly because I don't have any recording equipment lol. I don't think I've commented on any of your videos, or if I did I can't remember, but my username is the same as my username here on ecf. And your very welcome :)

How is the rogue? I've seen pics and it looks pretty nice.

Its pretty good. Its basically an odin with the air holes on the top up by the drip tip. I only tried it out cause i was havimg leaking issues from the afc from the odin(no way that could happen with the rogue, its a champ) but i think the leakage was due to coil/ wick placement

Yeah, my Youtube notifications are kind of hit and miss as well. And thanks, idk if I'll do any videos though, I've never been fond of getting in front of the camera

I might have to look into the rogue at some point, it sounds awesome. I've never had much leaking from the afc, but it does get juicy around the o-ring at the base.
