Well I have finished my first week of vaping. I am hooked! I started off with a Ephro origin copper clone and a tobeco Vulcan clone with chuff cap. It has been a great set up for me. Right now I'm still on my first build of .7 ohms. I am still playing with my cotton set up trying to keep it wicking right. I get dry hits, but cotton is still juicy. But i will figure it out. I'm all ready shopping for another mech mod and atty. I love mine but I don't have thing to base it off of yet.

Set up camp and stick around a while.

If you like the chuff... check out the 'Little Boy' atty, it's naturally wide bore, I have been liking it A LOT. I also like the Chuff on a simple little TOBH too though :)

Welcome! If your cotton is juicy but you still get dry hits, you may have too much inside the coil. You want just enough to fill it, but not enough to choke it.

Well that's what my research has told me. Last night I redid my cotton, I didn't roll it tight left it fairly fluffy. Made sure it was big enough to fit in my coils but not be tight. My atty has a pretty deep well, so I cut my cotton long enough loop under the coils and leave a nice air gap but not bunch up. It seemed night and day at first but by mid day today it was dry hitting.

On my next build I think I need to work on moving my coils more towards the center. I feel like with them being more towards the outside of the deck it might have trouble wicking up through the curve. I think that since the cotton makes contact with the machined part under the post and the cap that during big puffs that contact with out an air gap slows the juice Down Too.

Thanks for the welcome, I actually quit smoking a few years back, but still dipped. I could smoke a cigarette when I didn't feel like the 4 hour commitment of putting in a fresh dip and be fine.

I first started considering vape to take the place of that occasional cigarette or to satisfy the nicotine crave right before bed. After sinking over $100 day one and another $100 a few days later I figured the only way to benefit was to get rid of tobacco.

I also am kind of a dork about things and find my self trying to learn everything about what I'm doing, and there is a lot to learn here! So here I am, going to blow some clouds and try to learn something!
