Well after the whole bit with USPS tracking being less than accurate and playing with my emotions, I finally got my Revolver Gemini today. I'm toying with the juice sampler I picked up and now understand where the real expense is. So many flavors, so little time

Anyway, so far I'm really liking this setup. I'm avoiding the juice that shipped with the carts...I'm just not in need of some Marlboro-like substance with high nic content. I'm a light smoker and I was a Camel guy. So here's my dilemma: I kind of like a few of the flavors I'm testing out (TV will be my next vendor tryout) but the one thing that seems to be elusive from my searches is a decent replica of Djarum Black flavor. Anyone have suggestions?

While I research a little more on that, I think I'll see if I can't get a couple of these carts set up with PTB mods. I'm really excited about this and can't wait to get in on some tinkering

It's basically a 510. They claim to have some custom work done for atty design but other than that and a really nice smart PCC...it's just a 510.

I think I'll be adding Atomic Cinnacide to my inventory of juices and if I can find a really good coffee/caramel macchiato type flavor, it'll go as well. And since TV has some of the highest praise I've seen, I imagine I will be impressed.

So they have an M4 style and now a 510, they're pretty smart. Now wait for a big battery mod from them, if they do go all the way it will probably be pretty darn cool looking.

Welcome, Jarek91! Glad you're enjoying it. I'm not familiar with the Djarum Black flavor per say, but there are definitely clove favors around and I doubt it's a very hard taste to pin in an e-liquid. I've been very happy with liquid from cignot, they have a clove in their VG section. I mention them because they're not a forum sponsor you will run into here, but very reputable. Other sponsors here are obviously reputable as well. Cignot is one vendor that has zero nic and low-med-high nic levels available for most of their flavors, as well as affordable sample sizes. The way I started was with a handful of zero-nic flavor samples, along with a bottle of 36mg Eco-pure Krystal, a flavorless nicotine liquid. From there I was able to mix different ratios and dial in my favorite flavor and strength. I think Krystal could be a good base for mixing up a nice clove because Eco-pure has a bit of a sweet taste to begin with and is pretty darn good all by itself. Have fun with your journey!

That actually sounds like a wonderful idea. I've already been mixing these sample flavors seeing what kind of interesting combinations I can come up with. But I didn't think about getting 0 nic juices and adding my own to get custom levels. I think I'll probably end up going mostly 0 nic before it's over with, but that extra kick every now and then would a nice option.

Yeah, I've bounced up and down myself, started at a half strength then went to zero after experiencing some dizziness, seems some of don't know how to slow down at first, lol. I'm all the way up to full strength now but puff way less frequently throughout the day, it's nice to to be able to quell an old urge that way, but still have the zeros on hand for open options. Another good thing about it is when you start experimenting with different PV's, you may find as I did that different atomizer models translate flavor in different ways, so you have the ability to toy around and tweak some more to get your favorite flavor back.

I just ordered the Cafe Macchiato from TV and haven't received it yet but all the reviews are good. But the best Coffee/Caramel Macchiato I have had is from DIYFlavorshack. Absolutely Delicious! Right now, Flavorshack is temporarily closed due to the owner's health but I am sure that they will be open soon and would certainly keep my eyes open cause that stuff is sooooooooooo worth it! I was noticing that. I was planning on a small order from Flavorshack as well, but it can certainly wait. So many new toys...

Now if I can just get some caps for the included carts, I'll be able to go on and get those modded with PTB and filled with some tasty concoctions. So far, Revolver has been pretty responsive to my emails, I'm hoping they get back with me pretty quick on this as well. I was reading elsewhere that they were supposedly addressing that with the cart supplier and caps for existing stock was on the way and all new shipments would have them. That was about a month ago so maybe I'll get lucky.

I know you said you were looking for a flavor reminiscent of Djarums. Well, I finally got to my clove juice from V4L today, and it is...AMAZING. I added the Clove over the VG Mint pre-loaded cartridge. Its all that and a bag of chips. I vaped myself into near idiocy. Lol! I used to smoke Djarums, not as a regular cig but just for a treat, and I also missed that flavor. TRY IT. ITS REALLY GOOD!

So far it has been a really good PV. I'm not vaping much, but then I was a light smoker...but it's lasting a pretty decent amount of time between charges. I do wish the PCC could hold both my attys but I guess you can't have everything.

@aerin - I'll have to put that on my list of things to buy when I next get paid

Hi Jarek, I'm newer to this forum than you but I am familiar with some PCC's. So I was thinking that you might be able to use your spare atty as a cap on one of your carts. I know I've done that with a couple pcc's.
I've been following the Revolver guys for awhile now because I feel that for my needs I need a pcc with my ecig due to constantly going between work and school and not having much time to sit around and charge at a conventional wall socket or usb port. So I am interested to see how you feel about your Gemini in a couple weeks.
Also I know that Tony (posts on here as Kaeo) over at Modern Vapor (who I thought was a forum sponser but I just checked and didn't see the site on the sponser list) has a clove flavor as well. He has excellent customer service as well.
Also e-liquid planet (who is a sponsor for sure) has their USA made Essence Eliquid in a clove flavor.

The slots for the carts aren't deep enough for both the cart and the atty in this PCC. But if you're careful, you can use one of the cart slots and just barely push the atty in so it doesn't flop around. It'll be a fairly tight fit but it works and it still leaves you 4 cart slots. Overall, though, I'm really happy with it so far. I'll update more as I get some more time with it.

On the juice side, clove is a tricky flavor to get right...well, Djarum Black clove flavor is tricky. There are a number of threads about it in the e-juice forums but they tend to stray from the original question so finding an good answer is difficult. Well that and what tastes like a Black to me might not to you...silly tastebuds.

I'll add it to my list of juices to test drive. Right now I'm working through a sampler pack from Vapor Station. I'm not thrilled that they toss a random flavor in if one you want happens to be out. I mean, strawberry instead of Dr. Pepper? Really? Is that even close? Or chocolate mint-ish instead of coffee?

But the VS4 (their version of RY4) and the Rush mixed in a PTB modded cart actually isn't bad. The Rush alone is a bit on the flower/perfume side of flavor but adds a nice little snap to the VS4. (Using a 70% VS4 / 30% Rush mix)

Oh, and their clove isn't all that great. It tastes fairly generic rather than like clove. I've been adding some Frost to it for a little pick-up. The Frost by itself tastes somewhat like spearmint gum.
