This is My first mod built from the ground up. I made a custom box from a ceiling fan blade. I used the switching regulator set up from Mamu's thread here.

Big thanks to mamu for all her hard work and her incredible generosity to this wonderful community of ours.

This is basically a mock up build to help me learn different aspects of modding. I did not want to sepend money on nice wood for this particular project mainly due to size. I wanted to build the mod to work from for future ideas.

Thanks keitht253. I can only give you rough estimates on dimensions because I don't have ruler right now with 1/16's. Slightly taller than 3 1/2", 3 1/8" wide and roughly 1 1/4" deep. It's pretty big, but had to be with that board and feeder. The grey knob is actually a wire nut and is hooked up to the adjustment screw. I used a solid core wire and soldered it to the adjustment screw. Used epoxy putty to keep the nut on the wire. The back is being held on by magnets.

I realized I did not have shots of the insides complete and didn't have a shot of the plunger for the bottle.

I still have some cleaning up to do. I have to sand all the corners and edges down, clean up around the VM and I'm still searching for a better knob to use for adjustments.

As you can tell this is really an arm chair type PV. I have to say it really does vape like a champ though.

I used 18350 batts in it as well.

Lol dude that is awesome. Would never have thought to use a fan blade as the box. How did you do the knob on the front? Some glue an piece of metal?

Thank You! :D

People comment on a box mod when they look like this....:p:evil:

Not the point.

But thanks for the comment.

I know it aint pretty, it's not supposed to be. It's a ceiling fan blade. I wasn't going to waste nice wood on a big box like this.
Now that I have the dimensions I can make really nice box with nice wood.

I'm just learning wood working, I haven't been doing it for years. Ask for some pics of his prototype, I'm sure they are not so impressive. Besides, it's just a copy of what's already been out there for over a year.

Would be nice to see more original work.

That is an excellent piece of craftsmanship (IMHO). Can't wait to see your next one

Thank you. My total cost was less than $10, I just had to buy the batteries. The board and meter were gifts, so instead of stuffing them in a plastic project box, I decided to make something for it. I'm just starting to learn wood working so this was a nice easy project.
