I have been trying to get an answer for this question... this is my last resort... so if you can help... I am grateful.

I vape at 5v... All of my mods are from Vaprlife... all 5... I love these mods. They have some safety circuitry built in... etc... pulse width modulation etc... they have always worked great for me.

anyway, I like 801's... I primarily use 801 Fusions from Ikenvape... they last longer and the draw is superior to other 801's...

Sometimes, Ikenvape sells out and I have to buy 801's from other vendors...

I buy ones rated for 5v vaping... 3.0 etc...

But they keep shorting out my Mods! This short out is only supposed to happen when you use something that is rated too low for the 5v... but none of my 801's from three different vendors short it out...

Only my Ikenvape 801's work well...

Why is this.... what do our friends at Ikenvape do to make the fusions works so well?

Any thoughts on why this is happening?

...and yes, when they are available again, I will double my order...

Thanks,
LT

For the same reason anything that China copies don't work right. Thet look the same and there are some idiots doing reviews that say they are the same but Ikenvape engineers his with different materials than the run of the mill materials used in other 510 cartos. The reason, as you found out, he uses his own coils etc. is so his customers get what they're looking for. Here's what I said in another thread:

What it amounts to is he listens to his customers and gives them what they are looking for with their vaping needs at heart. What China is doing is listening to their, and everyone elses, customers with their pocketbooks at heart.

Yeah, I saw a review from a prominent reviewer that said that exact thing.

I have never torn one apart to compare, because I don't need evidence that IKV's cartomizers are FAR superior to any other carto I have tried, I live it everyday. Besides that means I would have to sacrifice one of my beloved IKV cartomizers, no thanks.

Well the old adage "if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck" don't apply here and that reviewer missed that. That's the main reason why Isaacs Fusions are out of stock and the other ones aren't. There is no big demand for the others. If you tore one apart it would look the same. I have a cotton shirt that looks exactly like a cotton blend I saw in the store. China is good at using low grade (cheap) materials to make products that look the same. I'm not putting China down heck if I could get people to buy cheap copies like they do I would do it too. Good moneymaker. Well I don't think I could on second thought because I stand behind what I sell.

Next thing you know this guy will be doing reviews.

I'm really sorry for being out of stock Lt and more importantly driving you to go somewhere else for that matter. I always have a little smidge of personal supplies that I am always willing to forfeit for our regulars. The way I see it, is that it's Thanks to people like you and especially J5 that we exist. So you guys will always come first.

Thank you J5!!!
Beautifully beautifully said!
About certain reviewers stating the iPhone and HiPhone are the same. I know!!! Anyone can clearly see the difference. You cannot hide vapor production after all and that just the visual aspect!

Boy do I wish I could get in on those personal supplies, Issac! I'm down to my last carto and I'm not sure what I will do while waiting for stock.

To chime in though, I work in an engineering department and we have many components produced in China as well as domestically. All suppliers make mistakes, but only the Chinese companies seem to deliberately ignore the material/finish specs on the technical drawings. It's very frustrating sometimes (like today when I received parts that were supposed to be a black nitride finish, and instead got black spray paint). You can't argue with cost effective production, but sometimes they substitute critical functional components with tragically subpar alternatives.

Beautifully said Jshar.
I'm sorry to hear about those troubles. Black spray painted material in place of black nitride finish is just god awful. No need for the reserves my good man. we are fully stocked with them now. :)

Holy smokes, I didn't see your response until I was home from work....thought I was going to miss the boat! Got my order in though, I think 35 platinums should hold me over for a bit. :2cool:

I'm quite excited about the v2's, by the way. I normally put my cartos on the Bridgeport and open them up to 3/32" to accommodate thicker juice. Then I have to use a punch to bend the sharp edges down, which protects the o-rings in my Clean Tanks from getting little bites taken out of them. Looks like I will be able to skip the mill from now on, so thank you for that!

I appreciate the heads up on stock, keep up the good work!

Your very welcome! And yes no more modifying around to get cartos to wick. Even though total vg disagrees with me. I haven't run into pulling any fancy suction methods to get them to wick. I hope you love them and thank you for your order!
