Here it goes.
I'm an OTR Truck Driver. My friends all vape. I said hell why not try it. My friend let me try his and I was hooked. I ordered a Kanger EVOD mega, spare coils and a lot of e juice. I get home Thursday to pick it all up. My new stuff that is.
So I wanna learn everything fellas.
What is a mod? How do I switch better more customized tanks onto my EVOD Mega? It's a dual coil.
School me. I'm a raging car guy that loves hands on and modifying everything. So I'm eager.

A mod used to mean something that was converted or modified to fire an atomizer, like a flashlight or a small craft box. Nowadays, it usually means a mechanical or regulated device that utilizes a 510 connection. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong or if there is more to add to this description.

Your EVOD kit seems to be made for each other. I don't know a lot about it but I'm sure someone here can be a lot more informative than me.

Edit: Welcome to ECF! :)

Welcome to ECF and congrats on switching.

My best advice is, when you get home, is to type into utube search each piece of hardware you have(separately of course) and check out at least a couple of reviews/tutorials on the items you are about to use.

After that your questions may be more specific and you'll receive more relevent answers.
Right now you may not understand any answers you may get as the lingo takes a while to pick up.
It helps when you have the items in your hands.

There is a ton of info in the stickies on this link... New Members Information ....most all of it is required reading for a new vaper, ENJOY and welcome again. Cheers.

EDIT This also has a lot of info for newbs... http://vaping.com/guides

to ecf Maseratilife89. Nice to meet you and so glad that you are here. Just a wonderful place to be. This was my first ever forum and I must say it is more like a family around here than just a forum. So many wonderful people. So just enjoy and make yourself at home.

go to youtube and search on evod mega review. watch a few of those and learn about what you have first so you can get the most out of it. It is a good setup for starting. later as you learn more you can move up and maybe start rebuilding your own coils, etc. Being a trucker a dripper is out for the road and you will likely need a few tanks to swap out as you drive as opposed to refilling. And a usb adapter in your truck for charging batteries. Ohh and order extra replacement coils.

Welcome to the forum. Once you've digested the basics and played around with your gear some, it wouldn't surprise me to see someone with your background creating your own devices...especially,if you have access to a machine shop or an interest in electronics. Remember me if you do. I want something with a low serial number.

I could see myself giving it a shot too haha. I love tinkering and modifying absolutely anything. Shoot if I can built my own headers for my car I can figure this out.
Thanks everyone for all the advice and welcoming. I really do appreciate it. As for the one commentor about the USB adapter and spare coils that's a great tidbit there. Luckily when I ordered I ordered 5 spare coils to start. I have five high end usb dc charging heads but also a power inverter in the truck that allows my to use up to 6 110 house plugs
