My intro and initial impressions.

Hi there folks,
I got my first Personal Vapourizer earlier this week and I really like it. I smoked analogs for the last six years. Having recently gotten married and going back to school, I figured now was a good time to make a change. I have gone 4 days now with out a analog and now am finding little desire to light up.
This forum was very informative while I was researching what PV to purchase. Thanks, esp to Terraphon for his video reviews. I have been quite satisfied with my 402 (smoore direct) and am looking to pick up a 510 for my at home/office vape.
Thanks again for all the great info and I look forward to contributing.

1 week and no cravings for analogs I even went out to the bar and didn't have a problem.

I don't get quite the same "hit" as with an analog, but I suspect that some stronger juice will fix that.

Your doing great. I have been vaping 8 1/2 months. It took me about a month to completely quit cigarettes so you are doing better than most. I find the 36mg. more satisfying although I had smoked marlboro red, 3 packs a day for 40 years so it takes this to keep me off of cigarettes. You do get a better throat hit with the higher nicotine level.

Thanks, honestly it has been easier than I though so far. I just hope I don't relapse. I was smoking blue American Spirits (pretty hefty cigs).

Awesome! 4 days without an analog! I got my 510 about a week ago and I have to sneak in an analog while my battery charges! I was a 2 pk a day smoker, now I have about 10 a day. I ordered a pasthru and an extra battery, so Im hoping to give them up all together soon. Good Job!

a passthru is a usb cable with a battery attached to it, so you can vape all day long at you computer

You probably do not need to worry too much about a relapse. After just a very short time vaping, if you are like most, you will find that a "cigarette" tastes like CRAP !!

I couldn't "smoke" now if I gad to. I've tried, and the analog gets put out after 2 hits max. They are NASTY, now.

What VG do you like?

Why VG over PG?

I have some USP cert VG and was planning on mixing some of my own VG juice, but have yet to order nic base and flavor.

Any AM. Spirit "flavor" jucies in specific? It would be fun to try.

Why VG over PG?

I think I'm allergic to PG. It seems to give me a persistent sore throat and a bit of itchy skin...That was more subtle at first, but confirmed by others in the forum. I told a distributor about this and he told me to "drink water." Keep in mind, I still use PG, but certainly less and I'm buying more VG now than PG.

Good idea. Be careful. This is a poisonous substance and should be handled as such. The last thing this community needs is the average user to have adverse medical problems due to mis-handling. Read a lot before you start mixing.

I was planning on starting with unflavored ~36mg nic juice and just mixing it with VG and flavor, but I still have a lot of reading to do.
