Hi ya all :)

My name is Lana, I'm from Serbia (Europe), analog smoker 2+ PAD, giving e-cig the first real try...

I've bought mini-cig (the one that looks like the analog) in 2011 when smoking ban was introduced in all indoor public areas (apart from some restaurants, clubs, etc). The reason I bought the "real looking one" was actually a prank I pulled on my boss back then, since he was petrified of paying huge penalties.

Two weeks ago, a friend had nose surgery and wasn't allowed to smoke analogs. She is also heavy smoker, so I borrowed her my set and liquid. Her surgeon had cleared it for use, and she said it saved her life - and potentially some other lives around her. That made me rethink my nicotine delivery mechanism, so as of yesterday, I'm decreasing use of analogs and going for vaping.

I did attempt quitting analogs in the past (cold turkey, phasing out), ending up with terrible withdrawal. I'm phasing out now (had only 13 yesterday - which I know is more than some of you had on regular analog days, but it is 1/4 of what I'm used to). Hoping to get analog-free before New Year.

Sorry for long intro...

Welcome to our forum Lana. You'll soon find that vaping is actually better than anolgues.
It is my personal belief that slowly ending your cigarette intake is not needed to avoid withdrawal, with e-cigs.
As long as you use your e-cig on a regular basis, your craving for nicotine will be satisfied.
As long as your craving for nicotine is satisfied, the part of your brain that commences withdrawal will be satisfied.
You can easily switch to vaping right now, quit cigarettes completely, and avoid withdrawal all-together in my opinion. Just try it for yourself! Tomorrow maybe? Wake up and vape... and vape.. and vape! Just vape when you'd smoke..
Vape when you wouldn't smoke. Just vape vape vape vape vape! You'll be fine! No withdrawal. (my opinion)

Do what feels comfortable to you, but I promise, if you completely switch to vaping all at once, you'll be ok. :)
As long as your body is getting nicotine, no true withdrawal.
And if you vape as much as you smoked or more, you'll notice little to no changes at all. I promise. :)

You'll soon find out that vaping is actually BETTER than smoking...
and after 2-3 weeks of vaping, you'll rather vape that light up a cigarette and smoke it.
that is because you can actually get more nicotine from vaping than smoking...
You'll soon find out that your e-cig doesn't burn down. lol.

I recommend you take a look at the eGo type devices, they are more powerful.
A lot of us collect a lot of devices, including big battery MODS. Mods are a lot of fun.

Thanks for welcoming words and advice :)

E-go (the one with clear tank) is the next thing I'll be getting, that is - when I nearly kill the entire set I have. I did order two spare atomizers and additional 30 ml of e-liquid - just to be sure I'll not run out of the precious vape ;)

It's almost 7:30 pm here, and all I've had were 4 analogs today! Anything under 10 will be great. Besides, now I'm allowing myself analogs in living room only, and I'm rather busy these days in my home office so - it is a total luxury. And I'm too much of a chicken to drop the analogs... I know, I know...

I'll be posting my updates and hopefully start "x days since last analog" in signature soon! :D

Welcome to the world of vapeing and ECF!
I smoked for 25yrs and when i started vapeing I found out I was more addicted to the hand to mouth thing than the nic so i was vapeing only 6mgs within a couple of weeks. i now vape no nic or 6mg and love vapeing more than smoking, it was an easy switch for me.
Good luck with your journey and let us know how you get on :vapor:
