Hi, I used to smoke 2 packs of Black and Milds a day, started vaping 5 days ago, and have only bought 2 packs. Yesterday was my first non smoking day and I didn't even care. I got a few analogs left and i'm gonna smoke them just b/c i'm cheap and don't like wasting money, but i don't find myself needing to or really even wanting to. In fact, the last time i did smoke an analog, i was impatiently waiting until i was finished with it so that i could e-smoke again! so needless to say, it's my last pack!

I bought an e-cigar just like the one at ruyan, but with no branding. I can't imagine it being the best device but even that worked for me!

Yesterday, i got a pack of Krave disposables from a smoke shop for my fiancee so that i could introduce her to esmoking. I tested it and it wasn't very strong, but she smokes lights and to my surprise, she actually liked it and skipped two routine analogs last night with it. So now she want's a real one.

What is a good e-cig starter kit to start her out with?

Thanks for your help and opinions

Id suggest a 510 with manual batteries. They are offered in kits usually with a couple of batteries, atomiazer and a charger. This is a real good first time ecig. I would suggest getting a Pcc case for it so you can always have charged batteries on the go. Get a couple of extra battys if you can so you have about 4 total.

I like the higher powered units myself but for a first timer go with a 510, IMO//

There are good prices from suppliers on this forum. just check them out for best price.

After three months of happiness with my 901, I bought a 510 to see if I could be yet happier. It isn't doing it for me yet- still prefer my 901. The 510 gives one a lot of air along with the vapor, like a light analog (as a smoker, I always had to cut the filter down to enjoy a light) and, yes, you can put your fingers over some of the holes around the atomiser, but what with the manual battery and that, suddenly it takes two hands to smoke- as if I didn't feel goofy enough already! However, maybe I will grow to like it. Good luck!

Thanks virgingoods,

I know what you mean about the air thing. on the disposable one i bought for her it is the same way. it has 4 holes and i had to put tape over 3 of them for it to work/feel right.

So i'll take some looks at the deals they offer on each and i'll keep that in mind about the 510 while i'm looking.

If anyone else want's to chime in, i'm open for suggestions until i actually make a purchase.

Thanks again and the help is much appreciated.

You may want to consider trying the Vapor King from Vapor4Life.com for a very ease of use starter for a pv. It is a two piece cartomizer method. Check out the reviews of the Vapor King at the vapor4life thread here in the forum and see what everyone is saying. I switched to the Vapor Kin over a month ago and havent used my other pv's since. It is a remarkable pv and so easy to use (just twist on a cartomizer to the battery), and your ready to vape. Plus, the customer service is excellent and the shipping is crazy fast (usually 2-3 business days). Good Luck ! ! !

My starter was the 510 manual,It's good and simple, get the pcc and some bats. The 901 is also good with a lighter draw and good air flow to enhance the flavors(which will become better tasting with time and no analogs).Just got my 801 and am holding any opinion on that till I get some more time on it.In my opinion they are all good dependable units with their own strengths and weaknesses. After that it's all personal preference.

Thanks for all your help.

After looking at a few of your suggestions, she decided she wants to try the 510. She wants the automatic battery (even though we realize from what you guys say here, that she will probably switch to the manual). It came with manual batteries, so we ordered an extra auto battery, atty, and carts (so I can have one too, little does she know :D) from ruyan. So hopefully it won't take too long to arrive. Hope she likes it!

Thanks for all the input, she really likes the 510 and has stopped smoking. :) I like the 510 as well, after I taped a black & mild tip onto the end (fits perfectly). That tip also helps the automatic battery work better, IMO, plus you can hold it in your mouth no problem. After trying hers, I ordered my own and got it friday. After we get a few more spare parts, we will be good to go. love it!

Thanks again!
