Greetings and salutations; i am nitewalkr, switched from cigarettes to e cigarettes few days ago currently using lemo 2 istick 40w (considering it to be my starting point.) I came across this forum when i was doing some research regarding vaper's tongue ( i believe.) I was also looking for further information regarding metalic taste ( which has happened since my last build.) Occasionally choking on some drags. But all that aside, my regards to the community.

hey welcome nitewalker, i havent really switched myself im still on cigars and hookah's lol but its a nice mix and who knows i may leave that stuff behind for my new adventures here..
damn i feel so stupid lol, in worries of over tightening the threads and damaging them on the tank i had not made it tight enough and it was not reading the coil.. everything is fine now..its reading 0.16 ohms..
That's really low you'd probably get more performance at 0.5 ohm considering your battery wattage restriction. I do 6 wraps of 26g on my lemo 2. And istick 40? Not 30 or 50?
I did 7 wraps for a typical micro coil running it currently on the recommended 3.7v/20w settings for 0.7 ohms. The problem with the lemo 2 is its really congested, you cant extend the wick and expect it to run on 20w because it would cause the tank to over heat and produce that metallic taste. So the situation was resolved when I reassembled the the entire tank and lift the sides of the wick while screwing the barrel.
Istick is what i found relevant and i have been looking in to hana modz so its pointless for me to buy anything more or less and also i thought 40 was standard for lemo 2

I cut the wick before it hits the deck. There's actually a lot of space in there compared to. A subtank mini or kayfun v4 even.
kayfun v4 is something that I would buy later down the road because it is a bit pricy, but once you put the barrel (atomizer tube) on the deck there isnt much space. It's a noob mistake for me to press the wick under the barrel. I was actually trying to figure out how to re-fill it without having it leaked and stop causing bubbles in the heavy VG juice.
