Ok, so my juice is burning. I'm using the same juice I've always used (VistaVapors) in a new setup (Halo Triton tank system)... I'm thinking maybe I need higher-resistance coils? Is that correct or am I missing something here? Thanks in advance for any advice you guys might have! :)

#1 Poor wicking
#2 Juice that's thicker, ie (50/50) high VG.
#3 Voltage too high

Just to name a few...

So are you saying you would recommend a different balance of PG/VG? Currently I'm using a 50/50 blend. What can I do to change the voltage? And what exactly do you mean by poor wicking? Sorry, I'm just a confused noob..... lol

The standard Triton Tanks (T2s/CE5s) use 2.2 ohm heads, while the Triton Battery are 3.7 volts (could be around 4.1-4.2 off the charger) and I never had a problem with using 50/50 eliquids in them.

After filling the tanks, it's recommended to let them sit about 10-15 minutes to let the wicks soak up the eliquid, and use primer puffs (non-powered) to aid initial wicking to the coils.

When you refilled the tank, were you sure to check that the coil was properly screwed in? I always forget that it tends to unscrew when you remove the top to refill. If you don't do that it leaks and you get that burned taste.

These tanks are fine with 50/50. And, I agree - let it sit for a few minutes so that the juice gets soaked up by the wicks!
