Hey,

I figured I would introduce myself here, since I am only using a Halo Triton at the moment. Tonight marks 2 weeks without an analog and I haven't felt better. I don't miss it at all and I love my Triton.

My question is... Can anyone recommend a few juices that work well with the Triton, other than halo liquid and preferably cheaper. When i first got my triton, I ordered a few cheap juices online (I'm talking really cheap) and they seemed to burn out my coils/ wicks too fast and give me dry hits. So I ordered a bunch of replacement coils (and learned how to properly maintain and clean a tank/ coil in the mean time) and got a sample kit of halo juices. The juices work well, but I was wondering what other juices you guys use with your triton tank. Flavor doesn't really matter as I am not that picky. Im just looking for juice that gives a nice vape, doesn't give dry hits, and doesn't burn the coils out too quickly. And again, preferably cheaper than halo, if possible.

I am fairly new to vaping and I'm still learning. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Matt

The ones that gave me issues were..
-Hansen Impulse and Delight (both suck but it was $12 for 50ml and I didn't know any better).
-Vanilla mint (made by good prophets) which I really enjoyed and will probably use as a mix later on.

I got the assorted sample pack from halo. So far I have only tried turkish tobacco (which I didn't like) and Tribeca (which i really enjoy).

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section.

Its ok. If you're not on a budget, I would say give the other tobacco flavors a try, since you like Tribeca. I also just tried it, and love it! I would try midnight apple. It reminds me of a slighty spicy tobacco you would smoke out of a hookah. I love it! And the obvious, voodoo. Its a very unique blend. I personally like it... so hard to describe but you should give it a shot.

If you're on a tight budget, PM me and I'll let you know my personal experience on the less expensive juices. Just know this, the adage is true for me: "you get what you pay for." Halo might be slightly pricey, but definitely worth it cause I think its high grade stuff. I have bought a lot of cheap stuff that will probably sit in my drawer till eternity, but I know for sure that my Halo juices will be one of the first to get vaped. That's the truth!

Forget to mention that Halo is known for their tobacco blends. Also, I'm not picky either but the better stuff is definitely worth it cause I wind up not really wanting to vape the cheaper stuff unless I have too... which is usually never the case cause I just get new and better juice and vape that lol

Welcome, mattschey! You will probably want to post your question in another area, since this is a Halo only forum, but one thing to be aware of when looking for other juices is that Halo uses more PG than VG in their proprietary mix (as a search on ECF will reveal). Aside from that, from a budget perspective, I can tell you that Halo usually has sales around key holidays (15% right now, 20% on Veterans Day recently). I've ventured into other low-cost options, and while they are okay, Halo makes a pretty superior product with little to no steeping. For me the steep factor and superior taste is worth the extra cost, but we all have priorities and budget can be a big one! Good luck on your vaping journey :vapor:

Hello mattschey, and welcome to the Halo sub forum. I agree w/ JamesC. You can also PM me. There are virtually '100's' of juice vendors online, ( I should know, cuz I have like 168 on my laptop's speed dial, and the list is still growing!) and I havent bought stuff at all those places either, but w/o fail, I keep coming back to Halo.

If you can, try to stock up now while there's a sale. The double pts. offered right now are also a big help. And also, on Halo's website you can earn 15 pts everday that you like a Halo product From their website only) on Twitter, google+1, and "like" on facebook. That's 45 pts per day, and it adds up quicker than you think! And please, please, please give VooDoo a try! Me and AngiBe, plus a host of others are 'whack jobs' for the stuff! Welcome again, and happy VAPING!!! lol:vapor:

I have used 2 other vendors besides halo for juices that they dont carry. PM me for details, unfortunatly halo has no fruity or dessert line, fortunatly they have the best juice I have tried.

Most of the time the old adage is true "You get what you pay for."

I have seen juices quite a bit more expensive than Halo.

With Halo you always know you will get consistency, quality, and while I like some better than others, not one of them is a bad juice.

I always have on hand: Malibu, Kringle's Curse, Twisted java, Southern Classic, and Voodoo.

Also like Belgian Cocoa but don't vape it but once in a while so it lasts a long time for me.

Tell you what, I have wasted alot of money on those "bargain" juices just to pour them down the sink.

I am now sticking with what I know for the most part.

It's a pleasure to have you here.

I have found that the Triton tanks work much better with juices that you can have custom blended. Not gonna name my go-to juice vendor but it should be easy to find if you are interested. They do also work better with Halo juices. I think it is nothing more than the top coil giving better flavor. Now I have some T3 tanks that I use for another companies juice and those taste better with a bc. But using my custom made juices in a bc never seems to work too good. They clog easy, gurgle frequently and the heads don't last anywhere near as long. I tried the other companies RY4 in a T3 tank and it tasted like RY4 should for the most part. Put it in a Triton tank and it tasted like burnt popcorn. Best thing to do is experiment a little and see what juices work best with what delivery system.

Thanks for all the responses. I went ahead and took advantage of the 15% off deal and ordered a bunch. I really like my sample of voodoo and will be buying a 30ml soon. I also took advantage of a deal on another site that was recommended to me. All 50/50 blends and so far so good.

Oh, and I got myself a VV which I absolutely love!

Hi-Five to mattschey! The VooDoo fan club is growing. AngiBe will be very happy to hear this! Congrats on all your Halo purchases.
