I ordered a few Kanger batteries recently. I ordered them from Heaven Gifts, isn't that supposed to be a legit place?

Just out of curiousity, I went to the Kanger site and entered in the security code from one of my batteries, and the site gives me this:
  • Invalid Security Code format - please try again.
Has anybody else had problems with the Kanger authentication site before? Is it known to be flaky? I've never tried to authenticate any Kanger product before.

I tried entering two codes from two different batteries and none of them work.

maybe you are not entering it correctly.

Thanks for the reply. The codes only have 6 characters in them, and I did double check to make sure that I entered it correctly.

I have no reason to suspect that the batteries are fake, since I believe that the vendor is legit, and I'm actually vaping with one of the batteries at the moment, and they work fine. I suspect that something is wrong with the Kanger site at the moment perhaps.

The codes are pretty simple, and the code from one my batteries is : NCKRD9

There are no zeros or letter Os in that code.

I just downloaded a QR app to my phone and I tried once again, using this different method, and that worked slightly better.

There is definitely something flakey with the Kangertech site though, because I had to enter in a captcha 5 times, even though I was entering it correctly every time.

It finally went through on the fifth attempt, and the Kanger authentication site seems to be pretty useless because it merely tells me that "Beware of imitations! This product has been queried for 5 times, the time of the first query is 2015-12-17 05:30:27"

All of those times were me.

So it seems that the site doesn't actually tell me anything about my battery that I didn't know from before.

I wasn't going to give up, so I continued using the QR method, and I finally got it to recognize the second battery that I have, after a few tries. No luck with battery #1, but it is common sense to assume that if one battery is real, then so is the second one, if they both came from the same place. I just chalk it down to the Kanger site being incredibly flakey.
