hello everyone, im from france, my name is Alain, and i discovered the great e cigarette a couple of weeks ago...and stopped smoking.
i got myself a starter kit ego T 900v (but i think it is not original see the picture i shared) and baught 3 vision stardust V3 1.6ml (2.4Ω)
) that works great..but wanted to try other tanks with bigger size so i ordered CC Stardust T2 2.4ml-(1.8 Ω) Kanger but it is not working...any ideas?
and the site i got them from (e liquide fr) did a mistake with a model and gave me one with short white cable instead of a longue (i dont know what it is called in english) what is the difference between the short and long one ?

here is the photo of my product:

The 'cable' is called wick. As for why it doesn't work, it might not be getting a connection to the battery. I have experienced some generic ego batteries that have different thread depths (i dont know if that is how its called) but I mean the distance it can be screwed down. That has caused this problem with my T2's in the past. The only solution I found was to switch batteries. Do they not work on both batteries?

I am a HUGE fan of the Kanger T2's and I know you will LOVE them going from the CE4's to T2's. I read earlier that someone used a thread EGO to 510 adapter to solve a similar issue.

Also, make sure that your coil is screwed down all the way. The coil is the rubber cap that sticks out of the tank when you remove the mouth piece.

I hope this helps!! :)

Also, as for your question on wick length, the longer wicks are better in my opinion. I have had customers who are lighter smokers who prefer the short wicks, but you have to make sure they don't get dry by tipping the tank to moisten them. I think the longer wicks are better for someone who vapes more. Either way, they will bother work just as well. FYI: All the ones in your picture are considered 'Long Wick'. Short wick coils will have nothing but a 'stub' of wick that comes out from either side. Also the rubber cap has another rubber 'cover' that holds the short wicks in place. Short wick heads look totally different. When you see one you will know

I tried to bring the center post down on one of my T2's once and it broke with wire. So the only solution for you that I can think of would be to upgrade batteries or get yourself an adapter. My suggestion would be to get yourself an ego passthru battery. Something like this: Joyetech eGo-C 650mAh/1000mAh USB Passthru Batteries - Colors! - Vaping Me

And also, stick to name brand if you can. It's only a few more dollars, and its well worth it! The newest JoyeTech batteries are going to be the ego "upgrade" batteries.

The adapter might work. In theory that would hopefully give you more threading for your T2 and then screw right into the 510 threading on your battery. It might not look very nice, but adapters are cheaper than batteries.

When you go tomorrow, you can test it, but if you can buy JoyeTech, I would recommend it. Look for the JoyeTech stamp on the bottom of the battery. Don't get me wrong, I vaped for years on generic ego batteries, but they don't last as long on a charge and they lifespan is less.
