on the actual connecton port, part of the metal is turning a slightly brown color. I don't see preformance difference, but could it be any of these things?

- I use Isopropal alcohol to clean them and carts (didn't give any discolored marks on the carts)
- leaving them in the charger too long
- possible juice leaking and staining it

my guess is one of my carts is kinda leaky, so it may be juice one juice I still have to use up, but I wanted to make sure it wasn't one of the other reasons.

thanks! just ordered some kretek from TV, so I can't wait to put it in my clove cart :]

Sounds like metal Oxidation.

As long as you are cleaning everything with a Q-Tip I think you should be OK.

BTW...

How old is you battery
How old is your charger
When did it first occure
Are you using any new juice
Has it happened to all your batteries.
How long do you charge your batteries
Do you leave the carto attached to the battery
Do you refill your cartos
What level of nicotine do you use
What type of base do you use

I think you will find that when you ask a question here on the ECF that the more details you list, the better answers you will receive.

Paper, due to the use of clay in the manufacturing process, is mildly abrasive. Tissue paper deforms easily to reach inside of threads when bunched up and squeezed.

Use tissue paper to polish the brown off of the metal. Just bunch some up, pinch it "into" the metal with two fingers, then twist the connection port back and forth. This will remove the oxidation.
