I know I have quit smoking so why do I:

Always seem to have a lighter or matches in my pocket
Get in and out of the car thinking I've forgotten something
Go out to the garage 4 times a day for nothing (Garage=man cave=place I used to smoke)
Try to light my p/v (happened twice)

Is it just me? Has anyone else experienced these Pavlovian quirks?

Didnt miss it at first, excitement over new toy and all, but after first slip, I find myself a little unsure sometimes.

I love the fact that I dont constantly have an analog in my hands all the time, but it does take a little getting used too. Biggest pucker factor is that 'there's something missing feeling' that makes me crave the analog from time to time.

Still working on my PV routine. 20+years of smoking, I had it down pat. Knew when to grab an extra pack for the road, top off the lighter when it was low, etc. Now need to develop an iron clad routine I can trust for my PV.

PT takes care of the house and can even go in the car with me.
Real battery in a mod takes care of the rest (once I find a LR Cartomizer):D man that 5V PT is nice, but makes even my enormous 3.7V batt seem weak with same cartomizer. TESTING TESTING is this thing on????

Brand new to the forum.. been vaping for a little over a month now..
and from day one .. I have not had an analog!!! :D

Posting here to say HELLO to the forum and to start the count of 5 posts that I need in the NEW UESERS area....

Yes.. I agree.. the not having a lighter thing was weird.. but for me it was important to get the analogs our of my life all together.. kept that last pack and lighter around for 1 week.. then I had my wife throw them away for me...

it does take some getting used to... wait until the first time someone wants to light a candle on a cake, and everyone turns to YOU the "smoker" for a lighter.... sort of makes you feel naked in a way...

anyway.. ONE post in.. 4 to go to make it to a full fledged forum user

It's funny , I quit 4 mos ago and I was mixing the butts and vaping for about 4 days before I let them go for good and I have not has one since , but I come across lighters and matches and I can't throw them out? Today I found an ashtray and found myself putting it up in a cabinet. I was telling myself that someone else might need it , if they come over? Finally I said yto myself , "you are nuts!" I got up and threw it all out. There is surely a feeling of loss that I'm not sure if that will ever go away but one thing is for sure , I will never light up again! So thankful for my little EGO , it was a miracle worker and now I get to enjoy the fun part of vaping , MODS! YEEEHAWWW!
