Motivation has to be the most illusive thing of all time, maybe it's at a convention or something, I can't find mine either! I make mental notes and then promptly can't find them. (ADD, again!)
I have one more big chair job, and then no more. Retiring, except for my hospital client. That work is spread out enough I can handle that for awhile, but my hands and fingers are shot. Then I have our furniture to re-do just one more time.
THEN: I am going to start stripping woodwork and 'baring' my pine floors, something I've been trying to do for 23 years now. Some dummy put plywood over them and wall to wall carpeting, which was ripped up 20 years ago, so I painted the floors and put area rugs on. They're wearing out, and I'm sick of hearing "we can do that some other time!!!!". Am still looking at the same paint that was put on the cracked plaster in 1985.
Two Three years ago before Christmas I got 1/2 of our computer room done, ran out of time.
It's time.
But I'm sure having a hard time getting to that chair job, what with sitting here in front of my computer again! Wonder, does everybody put off the inevitable.
I planted flowers in May, missed them blooming. Makes me so mad. Time goes by so fast. Unless you're doing something distasteful, then it lasts forever. Now, Fourth of July is over, next thing you know ~ Christmas again! Procrastinator's Revenge.
