Hello vape mates. This is my very first post on this forum and I am near clueless as to how it works. That said, I'm sure I will figure it out with your help. I tried my first -e-cig on on July 26, 2012. A ProSmoke. Since then, the #1 thing I have learned is there is a lot to learn with these e-cigs. As I continue to learn, my vape performance gets better. I hope y'all can continue to help my learning experience so that I may also help others.

Thanks. Ed:)

Welcome to vaping I would suggest a provari and a reo grand. My provari is now my backup

Thanks for the suggestions Dr. I started with the ProSmoke but wasn't happy wth the inconsistency of the auto atomizer. So I switched to a Jotetech 510 and now an eGO. I like the control I get with the manual button feature. Don't know much about the ones you listed.

It is heart-warming to hear from someone who is new to this vaping and all the paraphernalia that is needed. I too am learning and will continue to do so. This forum is a wonderful place to ask questions and to access information.

Welcome, and I wish you all the best in your journey to being tobacco free!:thumbs::thumbs:

Sitting down, facing forward.
Hi Edana and welcome to vaping. My sympathies about the ProSmoke, I got snookered in by them too, before I found ECF. I'm using the Volt system and am very satisfied with it, good performance and economical. Whatever you use, as long as it works for you and keeps you off of tobacco, it's the right solution. The biggest problem I've found is finding that "just right" liquid. Don't be afraid to experiment. In the end it's worth the hassle.

Hello ed. I too am new to the vaping world. Started with a blu starter kit. Learned how to refill the cartos as they are aparently called... Lol love the flavors and the feel. My blu kit crapped out on me so i ordered the ego twist and returned my blu. I have now discovered how much i HATE something i loved for 12 years or so! Down with the analogs when my new vape wand arrives! Congrats to you on taking the step also!!!

For a beginner I would suggest either Ego Twists or Smokeless Image X2's. The Twists are 510 threaded, the X2's are 808's, so they don't mix-and-match.

But now that I'm not a beginner, I'm looking at....maybe when I reach a month at 0 "nails", getting myself a single-battery VV bottom feeder. Or some kind of box mod. (I'm not at 0 yet. Until today, high stress, I was down to 1/3 pack, today I smoked 1/2 pack. But now my tank is reloaded so back to vapor....)

So my question for Drsmith30 is .. how big are your hands? I saw some reviews where women said the Reo Minis do better in their hands.

Until then, I'm happy with my three X2's and my 1 twist. (And, yes, that means I need an adapter or two....)
