I'm no expert but here's some things to try.

Try a new atomizer head if you can, see if it's any different.

Possible wicking issue. Try taking out the top wick, or both. You only need the wick that has the coil on it in there but try just keeping one of the top wicks on.

Otherwise maybe you're filling it too high gettin' liquid in the air hole, or even there's too little juice in there.

Otherwise it would be helpful to know what voltage you're vaping at and what you're using.

Are you vaping correctly, long slow draws and not hard draws?

Maybe take the atomizer out of the base and blow through the air hole, could be fluid in there?

How's the weather there. Is it really hot. I've had issue in high heat conditions with certain liquids.

I don't know. Just some stuff to try from a novice :)

If they are the stock heads for either the evod or protank, kanger is cheap on the wicking and flavor wick. Either get a old top coil atty and cut the wicks off or use a new piece of 1mm wicking and replace the flavor wick with a longer one. The flavor wick should plug up the hole between the bottom of the silicone cap and the top of the wick inwhich is prolly why they are gurgling and leaking. I got several protanks and T3's and they don't gurgle nor leak.

Just got two new Kanger EVODS recently. They both worked flawlessly for the first tank I put juice in, but now I keep getting a gurgling sound with a nasty BBQ like flavor... What exactly do I need to do to fix/prevent this? I am using 65 VG/35 PG Juice.

Your responses are appreciated.

Thanks.

In my experience once the coil is used it will clog making wicking slower and reducing the airflow.
What is happening you will get a tighter draw and this way you create a negative pressure inside the center
tube drawing liquid from the tank.
Solutions are:
1. dry-burning which is a toss , the taste will be affected to an extent and you have a good
chance to slightly char the rubber gasket and get some flavor alteration from that also.
Another nad thing that can happen it burning the coil if you let it burn too long.
I tried to use this method but honestly i hate the taste after this operation.
2. Replace the coil every 2-3 days. Once you learn to rebuild coils this is THE best solution.
Build coil form good silica and torch them before installing them. Taste is amazing.
3. Another fix I found is slightly enlarge the venting holes on the side of the atty , Original Kangers have 3 tiny holes.
I drilled one out with the smallest drill I could find and the draw became lighter eliminating the gurgle. This fix worked better
on Fasttech Evods.
