A member her named Vaptor recommend that you turn the cup seal over to prevent dry hits. Now my EVOD's were suffering from gurgling after I'd get to about the halfway mark. Maybe before then also. So I decided to try Vapotors recommendation just to see if it would fix the gurgling. Guess what? It works. I have since flipped all of my cup seals over and I haven't had a problem yet. Well I did have one head that would leak no matter what I did, so that doesn't count. But Ive had no gurgling problems with any of my other 5 heads. Try it, it may work for your EVOD and your KPT. Hope this helps someone, although I can't take credit for the idea.

Great idea...going to try that.

In theory if you turn the cup seal silicon deal over it's not really doing anything right? So I figure just removing it would do the same thing.

Well, I've tried adding wick, removing wick, replacing wick, wrapping some threads with plumbers tape, wrapping all threads with plumbers tape, trying different juices, and raising/lowering the voltage. On both an eGo-C vv and the Vision spinner. So flipping the cup and/or removing it altogether is just one more avenue to try.

It frustrates me to no end that I can't figure this out when so many folks are saying it's the best thing since sliced bread...or words to that effect. :p

No it's still sealing the head from the mouth piece tube. Remove it and you'll probably get a mouthful of juice I'm guessing.

I'd thought that reversed cup was the metal cup inside the silicone cap. Some of them are dish shaped, and don't have the little tip. The silicone cap makes part of the seal to the drip tip, yes?

The silicone cup is what you see on top of the head. It stops liquid from getting into the mouth pierce. Just flip it so it's facing up. It worked for me. Ymmv.

Ok look at this tutorial and see if it helps. If not, drop Eddie (the guy that posted this tutorial) a pm and ask him for help. He's really knowledgeable about the KPT's and the EVODs.

I hate to sound like such a Noob...but what is the cup seal? Will this work with the MT3s? I have a t3 that has yet to leak or gurgle...but my MT3 does every time...even with different heads. So, I broke down all of my Kanger heads and pulled out the flavor wicks..each head had only been used about 3 times..added a couple strands of cotton wick to them..2 of the heads, their wicks was shredded and into tiny pieces.

Actually from what I understand the idea was conceived for the t3/mt3. The cup seal sits on top of the head and stops fluid from getting into the mouthpiece. Just flip it over and see if it works. Ymmv. Good luck!

A member here named vaptor recommended this for dry hits on the EVOD. I was having almost the same problems you were, but I flipped over the cup seal and everything works great now. I just figured if it worked for dry hits maybe it'll work for regular flooding. Good luck.

Well hot dayum! It works! I flipped the cup, made sure it was snug against the bottom of the post, filled the tank (being careful not to get any juice on the center tube), screwed it in and....it freakin' works.

It got a little "spitty" at about half full, so I upped the voltage slightly and was able to vape until almost empty. When I refilled, I took the cup off and cleaned/dried it, refilled the tank (this time using a Q-tip to make sure the bottom of the center tube was clean/dry) and again, it's working. Still more "fiddly" than I'd like, but I'll be able to use these eVods now.

Thanks to vaptor:toast: for the idea and to Dannyboy:toast: for passing it along. ~does happy:vapor::rickroll:~

I simply can't understand the gurlies. At first I thought my vendor's were great, but no, it happens with all bottom coils I have. None of them gurgle. eVod I have to be careful, I vaped it dry twice before I realized how to check the level. Never had to flip or anything. And if it does gurgle, I simply blow hard from the bottom with the clearo upside down. The only one that gurgles a bit is the Vapeonly. About2/3 of the tank I roll a napkin and insert it through the center channel as far as it'll go. That stops the gurgling instantaneously. Are you having the right flavor wicks? Are you vaping it at the correct voltage?
