I got my new Joye Ego-tank yesterday. (genuine with logo) I ordered it from Vapor Galaxy because they had the best price I found, plus a discount code. I ordered it Sunday and got email every day with the status then it arrived Thursday. I had never ordered from him before, and I have to say I am VERY impressed! I sent him an email question, and he answered in a blink!

But ok, this isn't just about him (I just had to throw that in cuz I was so happy with the service) I also have a question. I know there is a lot of talk about leaking sometimes with them, but how long SHOULD a tank last? I realized quickly that you don't move the tank around once it's in place because that will widen the hole (yes, my first tank sprang a leak)... but I am wondering how long one should last so I can know how much stock to keep on hand.
Thanks in advance for your input.
:)

I've been using and refilling the same tank for a couple of weeks.

Same here. I've never had a leaking problem, and I'm not super careful about putting it on. However, I do line it up with the side vents inside the atty, even though others have posted that that is not necessary. I also fill the tank with a syringe, rather than removing the cap at the bottom of the tank...which may also help to prevent leakage.

I'll do you one better. I've been using the same tanks for 2.5-3 weeks, not bothering to align them with the atomizer, and filling multiple times a day by popping the tops, occasionally even dropping the entire PV, and still no leaks. I suspect people who experience leakage either used too-thin liquid (I'm using 50/50 PG/VG and some 70/30) or got a bad atomizer.

The syringe is a great idea, thank you cuz the hard part is popping that cap off without it flying around the room...lol

I prevent that by using a paper towel. Since I need to wipe the condensation off the tank anyway, I pull the tank, wipe it with a paper towel, fold the towel over and pop the top with a thumbnail through the towel. If it goes flying, it won't get far because it'll get caught in the towel. If I accidentally spill (been known to happen -- open tank in my hand, forget about it, grab for juice bottle, oops!), the towel's there to catch it.

If I'm on the go, I'll pre-fill a couple of tanks rather than refilling.
