Long story short, got a vamo v3 it had messed up threads. I got a new one, the threads were great and it worked great for about 3 weeks. Now depending on how I hit the button it wont fire. If I press the button at the very bottom it fires right away and doesnt cut out. If I press the button in the middle like a normal person there is a 2-3 second pause and it kicks on and off. If I press the button at the top it takes like 5 seconds and kicks on and off rapidly. No idea how this is possible. Anyone have any idea if this can be fixed? Luckily ive told the GF all I want for xmas is a provari!

First I have heard of button issues. Threading issue yeah Vamo is famous for that. I am sorry you are having issues again. I would suggest quite honestly saving up the cash and getting something with a warranty for your next mod before the vamo dies completely.

My vamo is still hanging in there (7 moths later) but I admit that for the last 3 months it has not been my primary device since I moved over to Mechs.

If I were looking to buy another regulated device the only one on my list would be Provari but that is a pretty painful front end outlay of cash.

You may not ever need to go whole hog for a Provari. I've been using the Sigelei Zmax V3 telescopic flat top every day for almost eight months and it still works fine.

Until recently I would have agreed with you. I have been seeing reports of button issues with the ZMax lately that make me nervous recommending it.

The GF was on the provari site the other night and really asking questions and making some pretty funny and astute comments. "The zombie one is cool but I cant see that being an everyday vape, what if you have to be somewhere formal?!? I cant get you that. Ah the black one is classy and the regular steel colored". Fingers crossed ! =)

Ive heard some good things. I think ill just try to stretch this thing out until christmas. I was just hoping someone knew of a way to get into the top of this thing and maybe bend something or mess with a contact to insure better contact when the button was pressed.

I have no problem recommending the Sigelei Zmax V3 Telescopic (not Smok Zmax). In fact, I just ordered a second Sigelei Zmax V3 as a back-up. I lost the Sigelei for a few hours on Friday before I could find it again.

I just couldn't pass on the price from this new vendor...
