Hello all,
Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Nick from Acton, Ontario, Canada. A mere 40 minutes from Toronto.
Like many, I decided to quit smoking on new years. I started the new year armed with the patch and an e-smoke called hdsmoke, that I purchased from a local smoke shop. A friend of mine quit smoking 6 weeks ago with the aid of the same e-cig. I figured Id use the patch and if the going got rough, take hauls off the e-smoke.
Right away, I was impressed with the vapour and feel as i took a drag. Im my first few days of quiting I hit a few of said rough patches. Id grab my hdsmoke and puff away, never really feeling satisfied like I had an actual smoke. The battery life seemed to fade quickly and the vapour and feel diminished with it. The hdsmoke company claimed each cartomizer was roughly the equivilant to a pack and a half. For me, seemed more like half a pack. Through some frustration I got the hang of things, kept it charged daily, brought spare carts along incase i ran out. But was still not very satisfied. That is when I decided to do some research on e-smokes, which led me to this wonderful, informative site!
So impressed with how nice and helpful everyone is. Its like I can feel the joy of everyone that has found vaping and the pride they have for leaving the analogues behind.
I had to laugh, as one of the first things I realized was, there was no nicotine in my e-smoke I had been puffing on all week.
I was saddened to learn that its illegal here in Canada. My sadness turned to excitement when I learned there might be a way to get my hands on ejuice with nic. (big part of the reason Im posting this, cmon 5 post count) The second thing I quickly came across was, the shear amount of options to customize the vaping experience to a user. Ive already put an order in for a SLB KGO 1100mAH kit from Dark City. The price already cheaper then what I paid for the hdsmoke.
So Im really looking forward to my new kit, some tasty new ejuices with (hopefully) a little something something, experimenting with different setups and my life going forward with out the cancer sticks!
