Having gotten on the vaping wagon for real this past Tuesday I just wanna share a few observations I've made about my new found "addiction."

I don't feel so dependent on nicotine. With cigarettes, I was having nic fits and felt like I had to take a smoke break. Now I'm vaping because I like it and I want to. I haven't felt the "need" to if that makes sense. I have no idea if this is from the slower absorption rate of nicotine thru a PV or completely psychological.

As days go by, the flavors get better. It's like the taste buds in my mouth are waking up now that they're not smothered in cigarette junk. I also breathe better especially as night (I'm an allergy and asthma sufferer and this is huge).

I can only imagine how much better it can still get from here. Thank you all for everything!

Ahh. That's great news! I can tell it will only get better. Wait until those taste buds really start coming back in full force. And it doesn't sound strange. I remember when I switched. Analogs every hour or two. A few vapes whenever I want. Big difference. And some flavors are for fun/desert etc.

Happy vaping!

When I was smoking, the very first thing I had to do when I got in the morning was go outside for a smoke.
And you would have been risking your life if you tried to stop me from having that cigarette.

Now sometimes I don't even start vaping until after lunch.
So yes, I understand, however I don't have any explanation for it.

I'm so glad it's my just me!!!

I've been walking around with like 1/3 of a pack of analogs in my purse since Monday and haven't even desired to touch them. Guess I'll give them to my coworker who smokes the same type I did.

I can't believe I feel so much better so fast. It's like too good to be true.

The same for me. I was just thinking that while making brunch today. No getting up at 3 am to smoke either.

I usually take my boba's bounty juice with me on my outdoor breaks where I go out with a smoker. Needless to say, I find myself moving away from the downwind stream. Cig smell gets to me. And on TOP of that, when inside I can smell a smoker far away. Bleh. Vaping solves hands working, inhaling, throat hit, etc. I even said to my wife 2 years ago "if they had healthier cigs, I'd not quit". Who knew.

I think some of it's psychological. When I was smoking, I felt the need to smoke anywhere I could because I didn't know when I'd be able to get to the next one. If we went to dinner, I'd smoke the whole way there, then smoke one before going in.... find out when we'd have a table... and smoke until we were called. Then I'd immediately smoke on the way out. Now I'm much less concerned about it because I theoretically can puff wherever and whenever I want to. I'm not afraid I'm going to be cut off from vaping. I don't HAVE to smoke immediately before going into a meeting and immediately after because I can vape at my desk. I don't vape in company sales meetings, but I can and do during conference calls, so I don't have to go out 10 minutes before the call and right after each call now.

Totally same thing. Even the urge to smoke while drinking, isn't there. It's freaking rad.

Im starting to notice improvements in taste. Its only been a month for me vaping. I also don't snore anymore. I actually feel stronger, example. Splitting firewood the other day I find I'm not stopping to catch my breath or slow down as often. Analogs now smell really bad to me and I try to stay away from people smoking. A friend told me about vaping and I don't think she realizes she improved my quality of life. That's huge.

After about 3 mos I noticed that a smoker could not walk down my office hallway without me turning towards the door to see who was coming about 10 secs before they actually passed my door. I then realized I used to smell like that... THis is when I finally did realize a whole new dimension to a first impression. It starts at the end of hallway...

I now know all my smoker friends by their different aromas... Newports. Thats Kody coming over to say hi. Marlboro's thats John... Lol sounds funny but it was true. I celebrate my nose now:)

I almost feel like I've been freed from being a slave to cigarettes already. Is that weird?

I vape a lot more often than I used to smoke. Im vaping constantly when im at home (I don't cough as much or get out of breath as fast as I did before though)

I don't know if its because I just like all the different tastes, or if im getting more addicted to vaping than I was to smoking.
