My "official" intro thread

Hey hey! New member from California , 10 year smoker (started when I was 15) and just switched to vaping . Only been vaping for about a week now , but already know that this is going to become more then an analog replacement and more of a hobby. Started with a ego c-twist and some strawberry milk tea from Davapr ( can't recommend enough) but couldn't take it anymore and caved in and started building my collection already , upgraded to a Kanger t3d and waiting for my Provari and nautilus .. Just wanted to say THANK YOU for all the information you all have already supplied me with and for having this support / forum available .. Here's a pic of my nothing special rig but it's my start , will update once my provari comes in . Going to be an active member so be expecting more lol

Welcome to the forum! For me, vaping started as a healthy lifestyle change and quickly became a hobby. Just wait until you get into rebuildables Have fun and and definitely take advantage of the wealth of knowledge that is eCF, this site has taught me so much.

Haha I already am looking at a mech and rebuildables, love the customizability of them. Have a horrible car modding addiction that I think might have been replaced , should have known before I made the switch haha

Glad to hear you're an addition to the many who has successfully quit smoking by vaping. As a 37 year former smoker, it was the only way I could stop also.

Hope that you enjoy the Provari, that's a premier mod. That's the site (ProVape) where I get my AW 18490's IMR batteries, knowing these are recommended for this mod, have confidence in receiving genuine batteries. Many sites & B&M's carries fakes of the AW brand.

Though your initial investment was more, you'll eventually start saving money over smoking, plus add years to your life, something that money can't buy. I started young too, at the age of 14, one thing in your favor is that you've only smoked for 10 years, versus many of the 30-40+ years that many of us former smokers were active.

You should see a sign of better lung function soon, plus be able to smell better, as well as actually taste your food again.

Keep up the great work & anytime you need us, don't hesitate to post. I've found ECF to be my most valuable resource & support since beginning vaping. Lots of info on most every vaping subject imaginable, including maintaining your mod & battery safety.

You almost sound like me, I started with the a unit from the local mall and RY4. Since I have switched to the Silver Bullet and now using the Aerotank V2 with my favorite Jon Wayne.
