I'm vaping mostly HHV liquids, in 60/40 config, might be a little more because I add some VG to stretch liquids (around 1/4 of the total volume). Whenever I load a light colored liquid it won't vape. Just a tiny column of vapor emerges, so much that I have to pump up the voltage and sometimes go all the way to 12 W on a 2.5 ohm head. So I'm sticking to darker colored eliquids, all HHV tobaccos vape great on the Protank. I'm dumbstruck.

That's strange. Is there any difference if you install a replaceable head with a lower resistance?

2.1 ohms, no difference. Viscosity plays an enormous role. My husband vapes toned down eliquids (he's not nic dependant, vapes because he likes) and gets plumes of vapor out of the same liquid on a 3.7 battery! To me it has to do with viscosity.
