Just ... WOW.

It is smaller than I had imagined. Heavier too. And I'm accustomed to my Reo Mini 2. Very solid device, great finish, a great fit.

Now on to the good stuff...

I checked my supposed 2.4ohm vivi nova (it's 2.9). Started with low volts (3.7).. Dialed higher..

What is this??? Throat hit??? With 2mg nic juice?? Mmmmm. Color me impressed.

And I'm finding different nuances to my juice at different volts.. An intense flavor I hadn't noticed before.

I am incredibly happy. I'd never really experienced true TH until right now. I have had no need to tinker. Just dial in.

My button did get a little sticky. I had to pull the batt out because the button would not come out. Did want to fry my first atty head in the first 5 minutes. I pulled the button out, put the battery back in. No repeat offenses yet!

I really wish I had made the move to VV sooner. I'm glad I went PRO for my first VV device, but this is what I've been missing.

Boy, I love reading this. This is exactly why I wanted to try VV. I also use low nic (6mg) so w/my X2 TH is usually mild and I've been disappointed in the flavor intensity of my juices.

Sounds like you're really enjoying it. Sure seems like this thing doesn't get many bad reviews. And I've read a LOT.

I love to read any "I just got my ProVari" thread. I waited a year and a half from the time I started vaping to hit that submit order button. I knew I wanted it but always found a way to justify waiting a little longer. When I finally did, I wanted to kick myself in the rear for waiting so long.
No regrets. Great vape . Totally worth the cash to me.

adeline, congratulations on your new pv. I hope it performs every bit as well as you anticipated. You just do not realize the quality until you hold it and use it.

Thanks, folks. Still absolutely in love with this thing. I have the STV nova on my ProVari ( NEW GotVapes VISION STV ViVi NOVA™ 3.5ml REBUILDABLE TANK - SLVR [gv-STV-VIVINOVA-SILVER] - $14.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more ) .. It looks incredibly good. Like it was made for my ProVari. I will have to take some pictures!!

Question -- watching my batteries using the check battery function, I see they're dropping below the lowest charge I can tolerate on a fixed voltage PV (3.5v for example). I haven't seen the low battery button flash, so I don't know where that triggers. How low do these AW IMR 18490s discharge? I read somewhere it was 2.5v ??? Just curious.

I might be able to get longer batt life since I get the same hit each time. Very interesting.

I was curious about this, too. The lowest I have let it go is 3.5, but I had no idea what that meant.

Anyways, I got mine yesterday, and I am blown away by the size and weight. It is way smaller than I thought it would be, and way heavier. Both good things, IMO, and I was very happy I didn't order the mini.

I couldn't be happier with it's performance, thus far. I'd been using a kicked telescope prior, and I liked it. My go-to atties are novas, splitfires, t3s, and 3 ohm Boge single coils. So the kick wasn't really a good option, in hindsight. 8 watts is a nice vaping spot for novas and the T3, but the splitfire is better at 7, and the boge is better at 9. So now, instead of carrying a little screwdriver with me to change the kick's settings, I click the button a few times and can dial in whatever voltage I need in seconds.

The menu isn't bad, either. I'd watched so many review videos waiting for it to ship that I felt like I'd owned one for a year when I finally held it and started clicking away. Anyways, glad I pulled trig and joined the "club," great device.

Very good to know.. Thank you!

I think I'm getting more life out of my batts in my ProVari than my Reo. I'll have to experiment for a few days, but my battery is holding up so well today. Happy day!

I've been getting about a day out of my AW IMR 18490s. It's impressive for only 1100mAh.

Do the batteries from Provape come charged?

Batteries should be mostly but not completely charged. That's what's best to store them.

So do you also find you're getting better flavor w/the new PV? That's the main reason I ordered one, to get that flav that I crave.

Great, thanks. After waiting the week or two (or however long it's going to take) to get the thing, having to wait another couple of hours for a battery to charge would be like some kind of cruel joke.
