I had a similar experience, I was checking my "volts" and in reality had my multimeter set to ohms and fried one of my circuits. The battery would just run and not take a charge, I could push the button and nothing would lite up but when I would screw my atty on you could hear it sizzle very low but you could hear it. My solution was to buy another battery. Your atty might have sent some negative feedback frying your circuits.

Thank you for your post! I do love vapeing but replacing bad products seems to be all I get done. I quit smoking because I could no long afford it. Been vapeing less than a year and have went thru 7 batteries, 3 chargers, and countless attys and bottles of juice. I don't know, maybe I'm doing it wrong but the eGo products seem like junk to me. Sorry....I am frustrated. Thanks for reading my rant. Lol

I can understand your frustration. I agree with doormouse, you likely have a bad charger that unfortunately damaged your batteries. Do not plug anything else into this charger. I have had two EGO batts fail under warranty in a manner similar to the one you described. They will not turn off when anything is plugged into them. Switching to the Epower model because it has standard LION batteries that cost $5 instead of $15+. I am no longer confident in the Ego products. Some people get a year out of a battery, I have not come close to three months. Sorry for your troubles but you may want to look into a different PV solution.

The Indulgence V3 is the one I use. With an 18650 battery, it stays charged for days. The nice thing about mods: If the switch goes bad, replace it. Cap has a problem, buy a new cap. Connector problem, buy a new connector. And a new battery for my mod is $6.49. 18650 mods are bit big for some, but there are a ton of good mods out there.

Chargers also need cleaning, if you haven't been doing so all along. Unplug it, moist (not dripping) qtip with isopropyl alcohol, rub it around the connector, then follow up with a gentle "drying" using a clean, dry, qtip, then give it a bit of time for any alcohol you missed to evaporate.

Please do not spend any more money babysitting an Ego. Move up to a mid range mod. A good one will cost between 60 and 100 dollars plus batteries and a charger. A Silver Bullet is a good choice, but there are many other good mid range mods. Heavy vaping will not hurt a good mod and it will be very hard to damage.
