I would like to give my review of the sentinel (v3 mod) clone. I got the all brass 1 from fasttech. This is by far the best mechanical i have owned. Threads are like butter.everything is adjustable. The center pin on the top cap is adjustable to raise or lower,so everything will always sit flush. The switch is adjustable for how you like it as well. On my other mechanical s it takes forever to telescope and swat out bats. This 1 takes 2 seconds because of the extra sleeve. unlike my k100 and other Mechs that have a slight delay, this mod hits right away and hard. In fact i had some .6 coils i was vaping on my k100, I had to add another coil because it was hiting too strong on my sentinel clone. The feel, the look, performance and flexibility of the device are all awesome. Nothing has to be done to this mod,no sanding,or removing of parts. For attys with air holes on the connector, you kinda have an air flow controller since the top pin is adjustable, which means you can raise the atty to allow more air through, or make it sit flush whatever you prefer. I honestly think this is is worth 100 +I cannot believe it coasted me 17 bucks. It hits so damn hard I don't need a another Mech. I feel the threading will last on the brass one, because the center pin is adjustable and its easy to lock things in place.
pros
hits extremely hard
beautiful threading
takes 2 seconds to un-telescope
every part is easily accessible for cleaning and modding (doesn't need)
top cap comes off and top pin is adjustable
firing button is adjustable
very heavy sturdy mod
shortest 18650 mechanical i have seen
fires instantly when button is pressed,no delay at all
PRICE this thing is stealing and the best mechanical on fasttech by far
Cons
Ego threaded/ Evod type attys will not fit unless you get a connector
a few scuff marks on the brass body barely visible(polished out)
THE PICTURES
All brass, simple design. easily comes apart
Nice top cap adjustable, very smooth generous drip well
Everything will sit flush if you want it to, or leave a gap for more airflow
Notice how i raised the pin to provide more airflow for the Vivi Nova

I'm in your head
How long is the sentinel clone in 18650 with the nimbus and drip tip? I am referring to this picture: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-mechanical-clone-all-brass-v3-mod-ph3oto.jpg

Also, is that the Phoenix V5?
Which 18650 battery are you using with the sentinel clone?

I ordered it a couple days ago! Can't wait to receive it, your review is pretty good :)
Lovin mine
What is the link to the all brass all I can find is the two tone?
$18.11 V3 MOD Telescoping Electronic Cigarette Battery Compartment - gold at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I saw a review on youtube saying that the 18350's wouldnt work on this mod. Is that true? The review said that it would only work with a kick because the battery was too short. If so... what brand of batteries do you guys use?
My 18350 aw imr's work fine ....little rattle though
wow interesting. :) how is the button?
:thumb:

How do you take the switch apart? And how do you adjust it?
Apply pressure from battery side and twist in or out on the firing side

I love mine. I Bought both of the clone from FT and I did notice that the all brass version does perform slightly better. Now for the Private V2 clone to arrive with the trident muhahahaha

AW 18350 worked fine for me. button top left a little gap between the top and bottom sleeve but the flat top sit flush and perfect. This is definitely better then the k100 even after sanding down the contact points. Trigger is soo much smoother from any angle than the k100.

My only gripe on this mod, and maybe it's just my fault, is the trigger bottom will unscrew from the negative contact point easily. The threading is a little course on the trigger. Now, I move mods in my hands a lot. Damn thing is constantly rolling in my hand. Be it tank, RBA, or genesis. My fault or not I am going to home depot sometime this week to look for two small screws that can provide resistance against each other to replace negative contact and will stay put.

Yes indeed this cline is more than what i paid for it.. it is working very good, thread is very nice, fire button is also nice, feels and works nothing like a $18 mod..

And for me, i can use 18350 no problem with it, although with some atomizer it has a battery rattle, but still firing after adjusting the button throw a bit

update: i still love this mechanical , keep a few things in mind. I love the locking switch but it had a tendency to get stuck,i would suggest putting some nolox on it and never screwing it too tight. The switch has a tendency to unscrew come loose,so i like to keep my switch nice and short,i like a nice tight button not flush but almost flush seems to work best,in this mod. All in all my threads are still perfect and this thing performs like a beast, what more can I say but everyone should have a brass version if you like mechs

I'm so dissatisfied with my v3 clone.

Don't get me wrong, it hits great, and performance wise its awesome.

But I think I got an extra crappy one from FT because it can't even stand up straight with the bottom lock down. Hell, I can't even put an RSST on it without it falling over.

Also, the brass residue always gets on my hands, forcing me to constantly wash them.

I don't recall thinking that the ribbing on the real deal Sentinel having sharply cut edges. Whereas the my brass clone seems to be sharply cut. Not sharp like you can get hurt but more like an abrupt edge. I'll have to go back to the local B&M that stocks these and check....as always I could be wrong.

Other than that it does hit like a freight train and I love the way that the pin moves to accommodate the contact point on your atty. I'm glad that I got one.
