Hey there, congrats on your success! Sounds like things are falling into place for you. Welcome to ecf!

As far as PG concerns go, I use PG free liquids and I am still trying new vendors. alien visions, Johnson creek, velvet cloud vapor, virgin vapor, ecblends, velvet vapors are some vendors who carry PG free stuff. Of course there's more, that's just off the top of my head. I use kanger t3s mini clearos at the moment and they seem to handle the liquids I use pretty well. I do notice that darker sweeter ones are harder on the coils and wicks. However I discovered early in the game that it's no PG for me, so I can't personally compare my experience to other blends.

Have fun and good luck to you :vapor:

I'm hoping I can still use some amount of pg, I know over 60 is off limits for me. But if the headaches stop with my next order anything over 40 is out. At least you caught it early!

I'm kinda new two mos but spent my time learning at the Vaping group on google plus.
Anyways I started like everyone w the ecigs tried the online free trial only to go through a headache on the phone to cancel which I did lol and never looked back continued to smoke for another two years. If ONLY someone told me then what I know now ,knowledge is definately power but dang two wasted years LOL now I'm loving Vaping!
I had a rough two weeks.. Vaping and digging in my purse for a cigarette drove me NUTs cause I was already "smoking " I stayed and chain vaped till around a month ago now doing less Vaping BUT Vaping exclusively!!
Feel great My BLOOD pressure was 117/76 my DOC was shocked silly! It was always steady at 130 range now it dropped drastically!
I have more energy running up n down the stairs and not as out if breath and my heart doesn't pound when I walk UP stairs! I'm stoked!
Anyways this is just 2mos lol can't imagine what 1yr will do but I feel discouraged by all the negative naysay creeps who are trying to Ruin a good thing.
Like yesterday's news RIGHT Vaping is gonna be outlawed cause teenagers are getting high off of it!?? HOW do u get high off Vaping no you get HIGH off the drugs that can go in any pipe or even Foil! It just upsetting if they can't get their hands on it $$$ they try to destroy it for us.
Anyways Good LUck ;-)

First off, congrats.

I refer to the BLU or other cigalikes as that or ecigs.
Ego I refer to as PV.
Alot of people refer to all e-liquid vaporizers as ecigs, and thats unsettling to me, but thats a different thread!

JUICE:

Personally, I got 'sample packs' until I found flavors that I like. Usually 3 or 5ml bottles of eliquid. enough for a tank or two to get an idea of what flavors I'm dealing with, and how it effects me.
I like a lot of the tobacco flavors, and coffee flavors. I'm not a huge fan of the desert flavors, but there are some candy ones I like. Everyone is different and you need to find what you like. If you like sweet juices I HIGHLY recommend TexasSelectVapor. All their juices seem to have a similar (sweet) base that my friends who like that really love. The juices from them I've tried have all been spot on for what they were going for, but again, sweet eliquid really isn't my thing.

With the tobacco flavors, don't try to match your brand. In doing this I got frustrated and passed off alot of juice because it wasn't what I was looking for. I've revisited these juices and they are good, even though they are not a match to the tobacco I used to smoke. Find flavors you like instead of trying to match your brand of tobacco.

With the "mixed for your order" stuff, I'd let it sit for atleast a week before judging it too harshly. The flavors need to Steep/Age (this forum has a ton of information on steeping, as do most vendor's FAQ). If buying from a local vendor, make sure to ask what they recommend. I think I've read Tobacco and Coffee Flavors require more steep time, as do VG juices.

The steeping stuff can be kind of confusing because everyone has their way of doing it. Common to all of them seems to be leaving the top off for a period of time (or opening them periodically) to allow oxidation. Also, they say to let them set (usually at room temperature) out of direct sunlight for several days (or weeks) to allow the flavors to blend. Shake periodically. That's a quick version, everyone has their own process, and I'd stick with the vendor's recommendation until you figure out yours.

Second Post - sorry, lots to cover here :)

I dont morning vape until after i have something to drink. Other wise I get coughing fits like crazy. Usually half a cup of coffee or half a glass of water is enough to let me vape as I usually do. Maybe try more vg in the morning (keep reading for why)

I chain vape throughout day. usually 6mg nicotine level. I've backed down from 12mg. I still keep some 12mg on hand for when I'm looking for that nic rush, but i'm happy at 6.

From everything I've read 100% vg juices are thicker and gunk up your coils faster, and also have a bit more muted flavors. My taste buds are not very sensitive, and I don't really have much personal experience to rely on on this one. With it being thicker juice you may want to remove some top wicks off of the kanger (if you are using kanger, not sure) heads to improve wicking. If your wicking fine I wouldn't worry about it, but you may want to remove 1 if it doesn't seem to be, then the other after more testing (removing both without testing may cause flooding). I remove both wicks from my mini protank 2's 2.2 coils. I have had a much better experience since doing this. I've been vaiping mostly Alien Vision E Juice (make sure if you buy it it's legit, there are some knockoffs - AVEJuice.com)

This (and the last post) is all just based on what I have read or what I've experienced in my 6 months or so of vaping. YMMV

Drink plenty of water and vape on! :)

keonee Thank you, im definately going to try 100% VG for a bit before switching to anything with pg. I just dont like pg lol.

Another question i have for all of you, Can you chain vape in the morning? I seem to be unable to do this as its just very harsh in the mornings for me.. Maybe its my clearomizer but yes, this is the only drawback i have with vaping. I used to LOVE chainsmoking my first cig in the morning for the morning buzz lol. Can anyone do this with their vape without the harsh hits in the morning?

Keep a tank with lower nic just for the morning.

I used to have the same issue when I first started vaping. The hardest 'smoke time' for me to give up was the one in the morning with a cup of coffee. Lower nic, or a gentle flavor should help (I.e. Not a strong tobacco flavor). It wasn't until I went to zero analogs, and found some good juice for the morning (Apple pie, vanilla custard, etc.) that I forgot my morning smoke and started enjoying a morning vape with my coffee. Good luck.
