Hello Friends,

I'm from Thailand.

This is my second mod stick.
It bundled with Tactile Switch-MOSFET-Voltage Meter.

The MOSFET, will cut-off if voltage lower than about 3.5v (with no atty) and 3.3v (with atty).

Please give me some comments, so I can make a better 3rd mod.

Below image showing the current battery with working atty is 3.49 Volt.

Here is the video, It was an old unstable 14500 battery.

Thank you for watching...

Now, I named it "Evo-Stick"

Whoa no way!! I was just thinking about this very kind of mod when I was sittin on the can last night... lol :)

Looks just as slick as I thought it would. Nice job man.

Do you know how much draw this meter requires from the main power source?
..

oatt, do you have any experience programming controllers? I ask because as I was thinking about using one of these meters last night, my idea progressed into another one that involved using preset parameters for min. and max. voltage, and using the display to show a percentage of battery remaining, instead of voltage.

Something I'd love to incorporate into the mods I'm making, but I don't know the first thing about programming controllers.

Thank you every one.

Sorry for my English language, but I will try to answer to all of your questions.

..

It's about 100-150mA. And After 3-4 days, I don't notice the differrent with a 3mm superblight LED. I have to use 2 pack of 14500 battery everyday.

Sawadeekop!
Nice Mod.

Sa-was-dee-krub.
Kob-khun-krub.

Sorry, I don't have any experience with that.
The percentage is cool idea too.

Cool idea and nice work. Does it read every time you press the button? How much current does it consume? Most of these run around 200ma. Have you considered LCD version?

After 3-4 days, I don't notice the much differrent baterry consuming with a 3mm superblight LED.
But, Yea, yu're right the LCD is much okay. I couldn't find the small one yet.

Sweeet! But can you surf the web with it? LOL

If you know your batteries cut out voltage wouldn't that be the same as a battery level indicator?

Alright, the 3rd Mod, will has the Firefox build-in.

Yes, The cutout voltage is 3.5v, So in the picture (showing 3.59v), It was very soon to replace the new bettery.
And I also know that the old and new atties consume a much different voltage.
In the video, The new atty, but the battery is old and unstable.
I'm waiting for the new set of bettery..
