Well after reading these forums non stop for the last couple of days I decided to get the 510 kit with the manual batterys from smokenot. Hopefully it will be here about the same time as my juice from vapor4life.
The envy is ok.. i cant say anything bad about it until I try with some more juice. I can say their cartridges suck. Theres barely any juice in them when you get them.. and one didnt even have filling. But the pv itself seems ok. With a new cartridge the first 6 hits or so are great but then its bad.
My wifes sitting across the room sucking on it now.. got her some strawberry cartridges. Shes not as heavy of a smoker as me and she likes it fine.
Now we will both have our own though which should be much better. Its a pain switching the cartridges plus the battery life isnt all that great so I know it wouldnt work without more so I went ahead and ordered the 510's.
In a matter of three days from buying one in the store and reading these forums I am now the owner of 4 of these things.. LOL Of course I only have one in my possession so far but I got three more coming.. heres to hoping I like the 510 better so I can get my moneys worth.
I figure I will kind of break this down from a newbie standpoint for other people interested or new to this as well.
My wife and I go through roughly 2 cartons a week at 30 bucks a carton.
So its 60 a week for us to smoke analogs.
Heres what I have into enough to get us by for a couple of weeks I think plus most of it I wont have to buy again and it will get cheaper.
50 for the envy from a local store.
20 on cartridges from the local store.
12.50 on a cheapy backup pv
21.50 on 25mg of juice from vapor4life
40.00 on two 510's
144.00 Grand total
Had I done my research before hand I would have bought the 40 dollar 510's and 40mg of juice for a total of 70 bucks and just waited for them to come in the mail before i started.
So I learned my 74 dollar mistake but it doesnt bother me.. my health is worth much more than that. If this works Id pay 500 for one.
Over time though there should be a signifigant savings.
I think I will use under 30 dollars a week for materials (juice atomizers and cartridges.) and occasionally will need new batterys. I will keep a log of how much it costs and post back. But if it is in fact less than 30 a week that puts me saving 120 a month.. possibly more. My 30 dollars is on the high end of what I think it will cost but I could be wrong.
So as you can see this is a very fine investment. If someone asked if I would pay 150 bucks for a pretty good chance at adding several years to my life and increase my quality of life I wouldnt bat an eye at paying it.
And i must say it again.. we need more or better servers.
How many people get sick of getting the server too busy message and wander away never to return?
