Evening all, well I finally managed to get my finger out and cobble together my first PV VV.

A dual 18650 VV in a shiney split aluminium case.

It's not what you might call pocket size, but will happily sit on my desk, and has been vaping strong for the last 48 hours without a recharge (and I am a heavy vaper!, or should that be I vape constantly? - my weight should not be an issue here!), and is currently set at 4.67v

I'm open to suggestions for a naming convention....I've thought about calling it the "PV Remote" as it reminds me of the ancient remote controls of old.

Peace out, and seasons greetings. :toast::party:

Good work Chumbah, shiny new, yes indeed. If now you can incorporate your TV remote to it, you would be set. LOL

Here's the link for the DC regulator board..

DC-DC Converter Board regulator In:3-30V Out:1.3-18V on eBay (end time 23-Jan-11 06:28:48 GMT)

It's the same board that has been used and mentioned in other threads in this section, and operates pretty much the same as the Evercool mod, with the exception being it is considerably less compact, but is offset by being significantly cheaper to buy, is ready made, and usually comes supplied with the connection leads as well.

In my build, I just put down a strip of duct tape to the case, then hot glued the board in situ.
