my shiny new mod stand

realized i was getting a little disorganized so i decided to build a mod stand
the wood is pine the stain is minwax gun stock finish just happened to have some laying around

That's a great deal more elaborate and yes, better looking than the one I put together with the same round plaques I got from Hobby Lobby. I just glued the small one atop the large one. Perfect fit, but it took a bit of sanding. I'll probably finish it with Watco Danish oil, since I keep it around for almost universal finishing jobs.

That is very nice looking and isn't it special when you make something yourself. I love wood. :)

thanks yes those precut circles sure make this alot easier and for $4.50 i dont think it could be cheaper either this is one of those little projects any one can do and looks pretty good
