Hey all. Longer time lurker first time..... caller ( works for me)

Any way I'd like to share my story on how I started vaping. The gear I've used and am using and the things I should have known to help others that are in my situation.

To start I was about a pack and a half a day smoker. 28 and smoked since I was about 13.
I honestly enjoyed smoking. I loved it but always wanted to stop for the health benefits. For the past 5 years I've been smoking in secret hiding it from my wife. And would always get caught. So I decided now was the time and went to a local corner store and purchased a Blu e cig starter kit.

Was excited for this until I tried it... the entire thing was a dud. So I returned it and I see the owner every day so you exchanged it for the new Blu plus kit for no addition charge.
This puppy worked great. But I ended up always going back to an anolog. It never really satisfied me. That and for three tiny tanks that didn't even last a day was 12 bucks. Where's the savings? So one day I was talking to my mom about this and she told me that she has one you can adjust. And a tank. She hasn't used it in a year so stopped by and took it off her hands.
Turns out she had a vision spinner and an unknown tank. Which sucked.
found a local vape shop and purchased an Aspire maxi for around 9 bucks. And worked beautifully. The next few days I finished off my remaining pack in between vapes and was off anologs from then on.
In the back of my head though something just didn't seem right. Taste right. Hit right. So this past went I went back to my local shop (after research) and picked up the nautilus mini and an itaste mvp 3.0. And have been in vape nervana since. I'm analog free for 2 months now.
Now I want to share some useful tips for newbies like me.
If you can help it go with clearer juices. Dark juice will make your coils die muuuuuch faster.
Condensation WILL build up in the drip tip on everything. Some more than others. Advise cleaning every hour. (Takes 5 seconds) after doing so you'll have a much fuller tastier vape :)
If you choose to get a nautilus mini don't over tighten the base. Will be one heck of a beast to get off.
In the hot heat? Prepare to leak!
That's all I've got guys. Vape on!

Thanks!! Yeah everytime I Google something I always ended up on these forums. So decided to make it my home now.

Which brings me to another tip for people thinking about making the switch. Whatever your searching for. Wattage setting voltage setting. What juice / coil / build to use.
Don't just take one answer and try it. Research all the builds and settings you can find and try and tweak it to your own.
No two people vape the same way. Use the same settings. Find your sweet spot. Everyone's different.
