Hi everyone. New to vaping and still trying to figure a lot out. so far I've tried 5 vendors and only enjoyed Fuzion vapor and nhalers. I was extremely excited for my virgin vapor order to come in the mail, based on every glowing review I've read online. I was really expecting to be blown away by amazing flavor! I dripped each of my flavors (12 mg extra flavor sampler in black cherry marshmallow, vanilla peach swirl, and mint chocolate chip)....and all sort of tasted like nothing. Not unpleasant at all, the essence and undertones were pure and I could taste a hint of what I wanted to taste... And the exhale was very good on all. But it was just so light and faint, not what I expected. I dont want to say I was let down because I plan on revisiting in a few weeks.
However will the flavor intensify?
Also, barely any vapor. For full vg I was expecting FOG and got just a quick wisp.
I was mislead in my mind after reading other's experiences and that's my fault as this was my first experience with organic/no sweeteners. I just didn't know that all flavor comes from sweeteners.
Sorry for the rambling. Thanks for any advice.

Hello Ashley

I am a big fan of Virgin Vapors, but you need to know my first experience was similar. Then I talked to some people, found out some things and everything changed. First of all Annette goes on the premise that it is easier to add to (sweetness, etc) than take away from. Since most all her stuff is very fresh, it's kind of making an apple pie and eating it with no sweetner and.......before you cook it. It will taste a little fresh, but not much else. Everyone's taste is subjective, but as for me, I like all of Virgin Vapors stuff steeped for at LEAST 3 weeks. That is when all the flavors MATURE, mix, mellow and meld. That is when you get wonderfulness, with or without the sweeteners. :)

Happy vaping
Morri

p.s. If you only got a wisp, you def need to check your batteries and make sure all the connectors are cleaned. Are you having any issues with other juices?

Thank you very much! Awesome response. Waiting is hard for me at this point because my juice collection is just getting started- I wanted to dive right into the virgins because I've had my eye on them for a while. I will definitely try them again at the end of June.
As for the vapor- the conpany i started with produces amazing clouds of vapor, which then made me expect that with any VG over 60. Also.....Perhaps I flooded- didn't expect it to be as thin?
Anyways I'm excited to try these again later:banana:

Hey Ashley, some people speed up the steeping process by doing all different type of tricks. I have seen people open the bottle and leave the lid off for 24 hours or so. The method I use is to place the bottle with the lid on in hot tap water, usually just from the sink, as hot as it will get but not boiling or scolding. Let it sit in the water for an hour or so till it gets back to room temp. Then shake it up. People estimate that it simulates about a week or so of steeping. Seems to work for me. Not sure what part of Philly you are in but I usually have a good supply of DIY supplies to make e juice if you are completely out. Also there is a store in Hatboro that sells juice. They make it right there.

Yeah you should be getting really good vapor with all that Vg in there, I personally usually add the extra flavor option on a lot of VV juices but they are good normal too. I think there is something else going on, you mentioned flooding and that is what it sounds like to me, the muted flavor and vapor could both be from flooding. I would blow out your atty, then add 5 or so drops, if you get a dry taste add a couple more until it tastes and hits right. I have noticed that with different juice suppliers comes a new learning curve on just how much must be dripped in the atty. Virgin Vapors is one of my go to suppliers, I get pretty good TH from the juices I order and the flavor is awesome as well. There are plenty from there that I did not care for as well but I have a couple all day vapes from her that are awesome. Let us know if you get it hitting better.

edit: The flavors I vape from Virgin are usually pretty good when I get em but they do get even better with steeping. Actually my favorite from her comes pre-steeped so thats pretty awesome right off the get go.

About 90% of what I smoke comes from Virgin Vapors. I have found that after about 3 weeks, her liquids are amazing. After 4 weeks they are even better. I always take the lid off and let them set for the first 24 hours without the lid. If I am in a big hurry, I put a cup with enough water that would come to the level of the liquid in the bottle into the microwave and bring it to a boil, then sit the eliquid bottle into the cup and let it set for about 3 hours. That seems to hasten the steeping process. After the first order, I ordered all with extra flavor. One of the things I really like is that her juice is not so sweet. Annette is amazing in that she will custom make you anything you want, or change it anyhow you want it changed. All you have to do is email her. When I get down to 30 days worth of my favorites on hand, I order another couple of bottles, so I always have steeped ejuice from her. Actually, I have found that most vendors liquids change flavors after about 30 days. If you don't like the liquids after you have let them steep, there is actually a VV ejuice trade thread on here where people trade liquids.

I'm actually just revisiting my virgin vapors right this second. I took everyone's advice popped the caps off for 2 days while I was away. It's now a week after I closed them back up. The two fruit flavors still don't seem ready (it's only been 10 days) so I will come back to them. I think I may prefer my fruit flavors to really pop however, just a personal pref. I also did not know that the flavors were not intended to be sweet.
Anyhow, the mint chocolate chip is pretty stellar. I filled a clearo with it and it really is delicious. What I like the most is that it feels so clean. The flavor that lingers tastes just like (white) mint chocolate chip ice cream. The caramel corn is almost gone. That one was perfect upon delivery however it was my fiancé's. I will be ordering again from virgin however probably nothing fruity. I'll stick with her dessert flavors as they don't taste fake or syrupy at all. I was weary of dessert flavors as a few otters I've had were sickly sweet. Virgins are truer to what the real dessert taste like, and I enjoy getting just a hint and a very clean vape.

Yeah I've come to the conclusion I do not know how to drip lol. I just wanted to use dripping to try flavors out on it until I get the hang of it. I always seem to flood. Granted I'm not using a proper atomizer right now I was using my ego -t atomizer with a drip tip designe for it, and I pulled the needle plate out. It seems like everything seeps right through to the battery and then I get a super hot burnt ... taste which is not fun. So no luck there but tonight I decided to give my 3 flavors a go. Had semi success. The peach vanilla swirl and black cherry marshmallow haven't changed too much and the mint chocolate chip I decided just to fill up and vape it for tonight. Looks like I may be vaping it till it'sg one now because it's right up my alley. Another thing I love about it- it doesn't have that tootsie roll chocolate taste. (yuck) it tastes like dark chocolate. Into it.

I've been vaping for a little more than 3 months, and I still haven't figured out dripping. I seem to flood the atty when I try, get frustrated, and return to my clearos, cartos, or tanks. I'm primarily a tank person. I have several tanks each with their own juice flavor.

I use some of Annette's juices. Her Organic Kona Velvet Milkshake is one of my top 3 favorites of all my juices. I didn't care for it initially, but I put it away for a couple of weeks to steep, and upon trying it again, it had transformed into a wonderfully smooth, creamy, and flavorful juice. So as the others here have pointed out, Annette's juices almost always work best when allowed to steep at least a couple of weeks.

I've tried her root beer float: spot on flavor, but I should have doubled or gotten extra flavor. Also pecan pie: actually haven't vaped this yet. It's been steeping for about a month. I read on the forum here that they didn't care for this flavor at first. It was almost 6 months before they vaped it again and they really liked it. I guess I'm in no hurry...lol.

I got some new CE3 cartos today that I plan on using to test trial size flavors, so I decided to test the Pecan Pie that's now been steeping for 6 weeks. Flavor wise, there wasn't much there to identify. It wasn't awful, but wasn't so good either. Disappointing, but it will go back into the steep chamber for another time, another place.

"Lemon Chiffon"...................SHUT YO MOUTH! There would be no way i could have a bottle of this flavor from Virgin vapors and wait 3 weeks hahaaaa heheheh that's just crazy talk. I did get the "precious pecan pie" and didn't think a lot about it but....that was close to three weeks ago and the other night i tried it again and it had definitely got better. As far as the "Lemon Chiffon" though? If you like the flavor of Lemon you'll L-O-V-E this juice.
