So, I thought I would spend some of my time writing (and some of yours reading) the progress of my vaping experience. It has been a great trip and I sincerely hope that there is still plenty of things to do and see. So...
My first introduction to vaping was when my coworker received an order of Blu. The old style. This was 1.5 years ago. He gave me one cart to try it out and I liked it. So, being the compulsive techie junkie that I am, I ordered a set for myself. Two weeks later I received it, and 4 days later I figured out that it is a POS and not worth the money I spend on it. Not knowing any better, I stopped even thinking about e-cigs.
Forward 1 year and I am starting to think about it again. All that lung hurting and coughing does get to you. And when your second child of 3 years old starts asking what is that strange smell that comes from you.... Well you get the idea. So, I pulled out my old Blu but it dried out. So I started looking. Found out that I could get carts for it but for less if I go with Volcano. So I did. Got myself a new set and started vaping again. For some reason this time around it went better but still there were no need to quit analogs.
Few months later, looking at the calendar and realizing that a round number 40 coming up quickly, I decided that something needs to be done to celebrate it. And looking at my 3 kid's faces every time I come back from the deck did give me an idea of what that should be. But volcano is definitely not enough. So, here I go looking again.
Since I already had volcano, I started with their site. And what do I see? A nice looking and much bigger (stupid me thinks more smoke like) Inferno. So, one order later I get one. Start using it with carts and it seems to be helping. So, on my birthday I have my last analog in the morning and no more since. But, there is still something missing...
Inferno is great. Very nice set, works very well. There is a problem though. I hate that they removed threads on the cone and made it an o-ring. It keeps falling off. So, I order Tornado. Great, now I have 4 batteries. Now I start getting juice, drip tips, LR atties, accessories, etc. This is becoming an obsession
However, there is still something missing in that line of spending money. When I get Cisco 306LR atty I realize that vaping at 3.2-3.3v is not enough (by now I know about voltage, Ohms, and other electrical specifics of vaping). So, I realize that I need something that is more powerful...
Enter the Rio Grand. Got lucky on the first try. Actually really lucky because I got exactly what I asked for - a great looking black on black Rio Grand. It is EXPENSIVE 8-o but really really worth the money. Get myself some batteries and off I go into the mod land. I have not let it go for the past 2 weeks. I use it with EM LR510 atties (I know, I know, but I spent too much already on other stuff). My Inferno and Tornado have by now lost their charge. The only thing other then Rio that I used was my set of Magma (didn't I tell you that I also got that somewhere in this process? ). I decided not to push my luck with airport security trying to bring Rio through, looking like the detonator, and instead carry my Magma on my 3 day business trip. I was missing my Rio, but I kept myself from picking up analogs. But (and you probably already guessed it) something was still missing...
Watching all the different reviews from GrimmGreen and others I thought that since I like 3.7v with LR atties, I need to try 5v vaping. But I spent too much already. But I want it............
Well, I found 5v mod on the cheap at madvapes. Just got it in the mail few hours ago. Got home, filled up the CE2 clearomizer 2.8-3.0 Ohm version with juice. Charged my batteries and ...
Oh, boy. This is what I was missing. This is fantastic. Now that is vaping. Hmm (thinking), I wonder if I can get Rio to run at 5v?
Anyway, this has become a very long and drawn out story. Probably not very interesting to all of you, but I thought that I should put it on paper somewhere
Thanks for reading and keep on vaping (especially at 5v)
