I couldn't think of much I would change to make my VK much better since it's such a great product. The LED would still only activate when vaping. Can ya tell I'm a little bored today:yawn: I just don't care much if other people can see the LED. I just want to know that it's working and if it's about to need a charge soon.

How many times have you switched from an auto to a manual battery and forgot to hit the button lol.

Adding that little extra to the Batt may not seem like that much. But The couple extra resistors and led alonf with a chip I think will add too much mass to the internals of the Batt causing the need for it to be slightly larger. there is not much clearance in the batt to begin with. The other option would be to take the interals of a Shortie Batt and put it in a Reg Batt that would give you the extra space needed for the small PCB that would need ot be installed.

Overall great idea though.

i was thinking about this. Do you think it would be possibe to put a very thin translucent plastic piece to run along the top inside the battery casing and make the button clear plastic too. when the led lights in the front it also lights the button. That way you can see the color under your finger. no extra power needed and problem solved. Although the button might need to jut out more so it isnt covered all the way by your finger. another ideo would be just a clear battery. so the whole thing lights up??

I also often forgot the manual switch when making the transition to the manual from automatic. Sometimes i even try to press something down on the auto when its not there?

That would work as another indicator that the Batt was working but not as a charge indicator. A Charge indicator is a series of Resistors that would light a Red LED when the voltage drops below a certain amount and a Green LED when the Voltage is above a certain amount. You could use one of the 2 color flat led's for it which requires less wiring. If I could I would post a diagram of what I am talking about I would but cant do that for a couple more posts.
