I finally got to try the new thick wicks. Being a CE2 veteran I was anxious to try them. I ordered two boxes of black XL 2.6/2.8ohms, one 510 and one 808.

I cut them open to use in my syringe mod. They were rather clean, only a little puff of 'smoke' after a dry burn. Upon filling and priming the coil I took a vape. Clean taste. This is the first out of the box CE2 experience I've had in over a year of using these.

I decided to cut open the rest to have ready, then my surprise; (2) of (5) were the new wicks and the other three the old bowtie wicks. It seems RS is still getting rid of the old supply...lol... no offense to GotVapes, they couldn't know this ;) I haven't cut into the 808's yet but assume they'll follow suite.

All in all I prefer my Genisis ss wick but until it's back in service I'll use these. I hope RS gets rid of the bowtie wicks soon, these are much better. The new wicks hold more fluid and it appears you're lower than you actually are btw. So far so good.

Now for the CE3.

well not happy with ce3, beta was good samples are not, trying to relay this to them but instead they are more concerned that im carrying the vision instead.

the ce3 cant be cleaned, and hes not fixing that, and it had 2 other flaws as it is.

So we have 2 other versions from the vision company and another on thier way which we tested and loved but where waiting on the ce3, the 2 new should be here in 2 days, we will sample them then have them shipped.

if something changes ill keep you updated.
