My Travel Case for my GGTS--- plus request

Here is what I use for during the workweek

its a Pelican 1030 set up for one of my many configurations of the GGTS


which leads me to my request imeo....

I am waiting on my next case to arrive (1060) so I can set it up for another configuration of my GGTS and here is where you come in imeo

I know you are busy with projects already in the works, but it would be cool,when you have the time, if you can create a little cap to screw on to the AFSv2 .. this cap would replace where the AFS mouth piece would screw onto... this way
I will be able to fit an extra tank in my new case.. and have my juice completely contained, and still hold the top o-ring in place...

I am patient so I can wait... I am also understanding.. so if this can not be achieved with your already busy schedule and other top priorities.. it will be no skin off my back ....

Ive been asking Imeo the same thing. If he produces the case, They will sell like hot cakes! I feel that this would be a simple and great way to complete the GG collection and keep them safe as well...

I got mine from batteryjunction.. you can get pelican micro cases just about anywhere online.. even @ the pelicanstore

My Opinion on the topic of imeo "making" a case would be this... rather than imeo making it himself maybe Lisa and Rob can work on getting a case with an (imeo approved) GG plating.. I feel an accessory like that could be a task for the reseller's of the GG line to work on....

Rob and Lisa are suppliers. Imeo is the creator, who better to design it then him!

Though that idea sounds cool ..... I mean something like a bottle cap but threaded to be able to replace the AFS mouth piece. Then the AFS will be completely "closed" and I can put an extra one in my case.

currently I can't put it in a case with the mouth piece on, and if I take it off, the inside of the atty is exposed and the top o-ring is just sitting there.

EDIT: I wanted to do one more correction...the o-ring IS still secure even with out the mouth piece.. I wasn't thinking about the other screw in piece that secures the top o-ring... any way idea still stands for the juice containing part

Yeah,,, having been in the military in the past and currently working for them.. I am exposed to tons of pelican cases of different shapes and sizes...


and I am a storage case-aholic.... if it fits in a case it's in a case

That sounds like an excellent idea. A simple delrin cap instead of the mouthpiece so we can store out AFS full of liquid and not worry about any juice traveling in places it shouldn't while the case is tossed around. I like the idea and think this should be an option.

One temporary solution would be to take the mouthpiece off and replace it with a round 510 cart and then you could put one of those rubber end caps for the cartomizers on that. I know this would not help with your space issue but it would help with possible juice leakage. Before we got the mouthpieces we used regular carts or drip tips.

Yeah I use to do that with the v1 ... in fact I use cartomizer condoms and parts for alot of alternate modding usages

well not sure about the space issue.. Have to see when my new case comes in... I just know it won't work with my current cases

I see what you mean Light. The problem is that this case doesnt fit the AFS with its mouthpiece on. But I dont think atty will leak if you put AFS in horizontal position. Maybe I am wrong but you can try it and tell me

Yes in general it won't, but you will get residual juice leakage(from the atty itself) should my case end up upside down... and with a cartomizer that the filler is already soaked in juice, I am sure it will leak out upside down(from the carto not necessarily the tank)

but really, it isn't a big deal or issue.. just had the idea.... you could just wait till the banana shaped gg is finished to tackle this one

Yes, I agree about the small leakage Light.
And better for me to make the plastic unit you want rather make this banana-Emonty GG

I love those pelican cases, Duck, I too am one of those people that loves organising things and putting things in their proper place (Vapn does this too )
I wonder if it's GG OCD?

I was gonna suggest exactly the same carto condom idea as Vapn before I saw his post.

I have thought about a case several times, as have Imeo and Rob too. I think the issue we have is that the PVs change so regularly and the fact that everyone has really different storage needs. This has made it almost impossible to source a case that might suit everyone and it's really not practical from a business point of view to a range of loads of different cases. Might revisit the pelican idea though............

IMEO wise choice .. just don't tell emonty

I agree with you on the case being hard to standardize 100% and I am content in sticking with my pelicans and plano tackle boxes to satisfy my GG OCD needs

as far as the carto condom... I am always safe .. so I always utilize every option available

I fully agree, but until that has been made, I use the soft rubber cap from the carto, put silicone in the hole, let it dry and now 0.0 leaking and also the space issue is solved.
