Those who owns and use both GGTS/Stealth and JustGG like me, there is a noticeable difference in voltage drop between these two great mod designs, or at least for me. I have not checked with a voltmeter but I can feel that the JustGG has lesser voltage drop compared to GGTS/Stealth. I am guessing that this is because of the old design of the GGTS which relies the axis spring conductivity which I personally point as source of the voltage drop.

Imeo, would it be possible to produce an axis with the same design as the JustGG axis? I assume this would be easy to produce since only the thread that screws in to the axis plastic would be changed to a smaller diameter.

I know I can buy a whole vent cap with axis of a JustGG but this would change the classic GGTS look of the whole mod itself due to the different vent cap design. I also know that I can use an 18650 in the GGTS and not use the spring to not get the voltage drop but I mainly use 18350/18490 when I am out of the house because I find 18650 set up too long for my pocket.

This request would mainly be directed to Imeo but I guess GG fans would also need to signify intention to want an upgraded axis for GGTS to urge Imeo to produce this.

Thanks for reading and your inputs are greatly appreciated. :)

There is a very easy solution for your problem, just take a look at the pictures.
you can even regulate the length by unscrewing.

I was going to suggest the same thing. However how far does that protrude? It seems very small.

it is only 4,6 mm long, i use 2 to make GGTS Axis solid inside . It works for me, but you are right if you get one thats maybe about 8 mm it shoul be more variable.

Stan

p.s.: but there is less voltdrop for shure !!!

I guess I'm just lazy and set the battery on the brass post. Without changing anything just have to be careful to only snug down the tubes or damage the battery. I have been doing it for over 2 years without any problems.

That's not wrong at all. We are trying to have the same performance in solid mode as well where if you remove the spring the battery doesn't reach

I also bought the type of screws for a solid mod with GGTS bottom cap. Its the same type like Stan presented but in Stainless Steel and 10mm long. That works perfectly and hits hard - the only problem is that these screws are too long for a Stealth Cap setup. With the Just GG CT it works fine but as I want to use a Stealth Cap here I had to file/rasp away a mm or two... So better get 8mm screws as Stan suggested! :)

I also searched quite a long time for brass or copper screws from that type but only found the ones that Stan linked and I found them to be too expensive.

In my setup the screw comes out of the bolt a bit more than 3mm, so any M5 flat head screw (like the ones Ariel posted) will work fine if the head part is smaller than 3mm (better 2mm) and the total length is not more than 8mm. Any? Well the right threads they should have too - dunno which rate it is but I guess its "default" threading... :)

+1 This is what I do. (till I see Ariel_MX thought.)
