Here's what you get when you get the mad vapes VV board and regulator kit, a Half a foot of 6061 Rod, some boring bars and elbow grease... a mini lathe and several hours of cursing!

Works with a pair of 16340s, 18350s or CR123A... With the 3.7V batteries the range is 0-6.9V and with the 3v batteries the range is 0-5.3v...

At the moment, the trim-pot is recessed and needs a tool, but after this weekend I will have a nice machined knob on it for tool-free adjustment. It's actually a pretty great performing PV!

looks very nice and professional looking. You could easily sell those. I am thinking of doing something similar, but I have to wait for a lathe at work to open up, and I am probably going with 14xxx size batteries but we will see.

How warm does yours get after a good bit of vaping? I have noticed the chip gets a little hot inside my boxmod, but with that aluminum I would imagine any heat dissipates pretty quick

I clamped a small square of aluminum that acts as a heatsink to the regulator, and it does get pretty warm, but it cools pretty fast when I let up on the chain vaping.
