My sister is 100% against these and has partitioned the NC state to pose a ban on esmokes. She is a pastors wife of some legal southern baptist denomination.
How in the world is this sin? She drink coffee which has caffeine and nicotine is a stimulant? The rest is just taste? crazy!!
Next time I visit their church "last time was 8 years ago" I plan to smoke while I sit in the pews my 510 yeti. I plan to make a special brew called the Charles Spurgion 'a 1800s Baptist minister who smoked 20 cigars a day" and smoke it in church!

Your response should have been:

Probably not, but he wouldn't JUDGE me for smoking a 510. :vapor:

Yeah, i walk on eggshells around these people. Everything is sin to them.. They believe anything fun or pleasureful is sin. esmoking is sin, drinking a beer is sin, playing poker is sin... you name it ..likely to be sin to these people!

You could always reply that being a gossiping busy body is a sin also.

“If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight reign on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless” (James 1:26)
“But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters” (1 Peter 4:15)

yeah i told her about this stuff..but she says it is only 'chit chat' she is both a huge gossip and a busybody. But they get this holy then though because they dont smoke and they dont play cards and all..They think they are superior in some ways.
Her husband agree with her on the yeti 510. he also says it is sin and they both are doing their best to pose a ban on these in NC.

I'm not one to judge. I mean, who am I to judge anyone?

So I'm not saying you're right or wrong...

he wouldn't JUDGE me for smoking a 510. :vapor:

However (you knew this was coming...),

I believe God judges ALL things.

Passing judgment does not mean it's all bad. He may say,

"Sucking vapor from a 510 Yeti is not for me, but I see no real
harm. If it floats your boat and makes you happy... have at it.
Enjoy yourself. Be happy."

I believe God loves us all and wants us to live peaceful, happy,
guilt-free lives. Otherwise, what's the damn point?

holy crap. (just realized after I wrote that idiom that it was sort of relevant...)

that is unbelievable to me. when I was a kid my parents were super religious -- initially baptist, then pentecostal, then god knows what (by then I was in the military and long gone), but in all my experiences with hardcore judgmental church people from probably 12 different religions/churches, the most harsh indictment of smoking in general was that the pastor/preacher and the congregation was of the opinion that it was a sin yes, but that it was understandable -- certainly not something worth beating someone over the head with a bible over... good god

so yeah, that's a bit extreme, even for a bible-beater
